Ditto, was entering an instance for my storyline.

Under 24 hours for me. I think being polite helped.

I have similar issue. Must be down.

I just wish there was a way to turn off the little blue diamonds all over my map without turning anything else off.

You should now be able to log in using the following information:

Password: some pass they gave me

To update your Guild Wars 2 password to something new, login using your current information at https://account.guildwars2.com/ and follow the steps below:

1. Click on the “Edit Profile” link on the left hand side of the page.
2. Under “Change Password,” enter the current password, as well as a new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.
3. Click “Save Changes” to complete the password change.

I follow all the instructions and then nothing. Same error as before. I hope my update to my ticket is seen and they have not completely closed out my issue.

My account went from the banned message to “We have detected that your account may have been accessed by an unauthorised individual…” message. Interesting. No reply from the support though even though they changed the message.

I just got " Your Guild Wars 2 Account has been terminated due to botting, extended unattended play, using macros, or similar behavior. Attempting to automate gameplay through any means or attempting to circumvent idle-time restrictions in any way is in violation of the User Agreement and Rules of Conduct. The account closure is permanent." Is this what others are seeing when they are wrongly terminated? I really wouldn’t even know how to bot if I tried. At the time I was doing my personal story so I dont even know how someone would report me. Any help or advice aside from submitting a ticket would be greatly appreciated.
