Guild Wars 2

Thank you for the kind words, it won’t be easy to get things going in the start and that’s why I’m being honest in the description so there are no illusions. I remember hating the represent system as a guild leader, but in this case it might actually help people giving it a try without burning all their bridges.

Prototype was a guild that focused on tPvP during headstart and lasted a couple of months into the game. At most we had close to 100 members, but Mists of Pandaria took a fair chunk of the player base (even tho they swore to never return to WoW), quite a few left the game without any notice and the people that stayed were notoriously bad at honoring scheduled tPvP events.

This caused the once that wanted to play competitively left. In the end the work of running the guild alone, mixed with an increased work-load in real life, forced me to put the guild on a hiatus.

The Reboot
I enjoy running a guild but I have learnt that you need to find officers that feel the same way early in the creation of the guild. I want to reboot the guild, we have all the upgrades available. But instead of being a competitive tPvP guild we are going to be a “casual” guild. By “casual” I mean there will be no forced events, no forced login times, no forced play style and an inclusive atmosphere.

What I’m Looking For
First of, I’m looking for officers, people with a genuine interest in creating a community. Secondly I’m looking for members, people that are tired of being shouted at by their officers, demanded to play a certain way at a certain time.

Voice chat – TS3/Mumble/Something else (whatever the guild wants)
A genuine interest in making a friendly place for people when they log on to have fun after a hard day at work.

Closing words
I know this is somewhat like selling sand at floor of the North Sea, but I believe we can make it happen, what I need is a handful of people that feel the same way. I’ve made some great friends being part of and running a guild, and I hope I will continue to do so for a long time to come.
