just type the number, you probably have two hands, giv’r a go…
just posted a topic on this NPC’s seem to be trains right now post if you agree or what youve seen, my NPC followers are running devasting amounts of damage and kill stuff before i can touch them haha
Hey all, aside from the fact that Trahearne and his glory is not appreciated in the Storyline…
Did the NPC’s you fight with throughout the game get a buff to damage?? i am an early human vigil guardian (level 33 alt) and after completing the story with my 80 about 4 weeks ago i have noticed well not noticed i have been /afk during fights when i have NPC’s with me they are blowing through everything! has anyone else noticed this (before halloween patch) because i was like the kitten everywhere, the NPC’s would blow up these charrs before i even got to them
Did arena net buff NPC’s or am i seeing things..
this can be answered by one word. your question, why is there so many guardians? answer is, NUMBERS. people play this and any other mmo to see numbers, you get gear to see higher numbers. since playing other classes and switching to the guardian ive seen more numbers pewpew. and thats that. NUMBERS
Hello existing guardians and guardian community! i have just finished my first toon to 80 about a week ago a very tall and buff norn thief. so i lied to myself, thinking the thief is what i wanted to play. at any event DE low or high level i see this blue spinning sword flaring wall making projectile blocking condition removing bad azz looking toon with tusks coming from the helm thing. i quickly discovered what this was and /rolledaguardian and i LOVE it.
now the question is my level 20 guardian is very squishy, when i do my traits/gear/skills while leveling do i focus on the power/prec/tough,vital build or build another way as i spin my way to 80? what skills are more effective in survivability while leveling? as of right now i am enjoying all signets but is there a better way?
basically i want to know what is better power/prec/tough or tanky all the way for leveling
Thanks!
when i go to sell onions as an example right now, people have placed orders that are less than the vendor would pay you for them. this also happens with many other low-level items
Is this a result of the “gw2secrets” video, because it does make sense if so, you see 2 people have ordered 11,000 onions for less than the vendor, THUS making us post them for the cheapest the trading post will let us. i find this with runes, minor major where one person ordered 50-100 of one rune less than vendor sell. why does this person need all of these?
this is just my assumption that someone is telling people to do this to get the cheapest thing because now i go on and the number has increased to 5-15 people ordering thousands of things they only need 2-5 of!
anyone else run into this issue and/or can explain why this is happening?
I take it that you are human? as i rolled my first toon norn i had no issue keeping my level in tune with the heart quests and dynamic events but as that character hit 80 i rolled a human. i was level 16 and all my hearts were 22+ in 3 zones i dont know what happened so i spam crafting for levels, try that out! but 6 seems a bit low for this to happen.
dont always follow your personal quest if that is your issue, do some hearts and aqquire the requested level or try some events!
good luck..
i dont even recall getting anything when i completed the story lol
Waterskiing will be quite the adventure for Trahearne. had a solid lol haha
@tommion in a couple of levels in time it will be the same (your level stats etc drop to 28"
. i solo’d every single personal story quest as a thief. and this did teach me how to play the game. when you hit “retry from a checkpoint” the boss you are on regains full health. i dont think this topic is relevant. people learn to play as the game goes on, instead of being like omg your bad say hey try using these skills to benefit the group and NOT say. GO BACK TO YOUR PERSONAL STORY AND LEARN HOW TO DO DUNGEONS THERE. because that makes no sense…
all of you opposed to the idea of a group finder all bring up “socialization” and interaction with other players.. i want to be on your server, i am in a 150+ member guild and no one talks. in map chat in every map, no one talks. if you type in LFG blahblah no one ever replys. the most chat ever going on is gold spammers. A LFG list, where you apply to “LFG” would be efficient. and whoever is relating this to WoW, there is no relation a dungeon finder in gw2 would be completely different and actually make sense. there are no tanks and no healers(designated) meaning everyone would find groups quickly and not wait the 45 minutes+(as a dps in wow) which WE all wait for any sort of group to happen in gw2.
Also whoever says the dungeon finder ruined all morality and social aspects of wow you are wrong. everybody loved it except DPS classes, YOU may have been that person who ruined the group and got kicked which is why you didnt like it.
If anything a gw2 “LFG mechanism” would greatly improve the “morality and socialism” of the game. meeting new players from other servers would be great and a much better time than chilling with event farming bots all day.
So now that we got our “nerfs” people come here to lol instead of complain. /ok?
I'd like to propose a new profession (no really, this is Charr related)
in Charr

I did not roll a charr because the hunchback, it makes my back hurt just looking at one. exact reason i did not play a troll in wow. i constantly check my posture haha.
This “exploit” if any of you actualy play Pve does not work against npc aswell against nubs in PvP. as soon as you “nerf” spear, the thief is back to crying at underwater hearts. use an interrupt, kite, get two people, stop being bad, stop QQing, use a pull, use range and win. L2P.
Not.
Love it, Im all like steal and stuff.
QQ
if he just had to “stand there and pop the skill” then you are just standing there being hit by the skill. the thief is stationary when pistol whip is used. it does not stun 3 people. were you afk?
IMO, pistol whip leaves you too vulnerable, you pop it, they dodge the “7.5k” dmg you want to put out is just hitting air. its a very tolerable skill, any player who knows a thief and sees a sword instantly should kite anyway. if anything pistol whip should be used as an interrupt, it is not ideal in a pvp situation
If anyone is playing on a M17x alienware laptop and does not expierence high amounts of lag could you please reply? and Rahsaan when you choose “auto detect” does it put all graphic settings on low? the first week i was on high everything with no problem and now my integrated graphics card runs smoother than my other card but i get too much screen tearing.
Does anyone run Guild wars 2 on a alienware m17x gaming system? i played the first week fine on high performance everything completely lag free until about two days ago, where absolutlely everywhere i am i lag. even on all low graphic options i am lagging. if anyone has had the same problem/issue and has resolved it post back please
