How to Improve Revenants ideas

My thoughts with the Mallyx legend:
The self inflicted conditions remind me of necro but with less usability. I’d either tone that down a bit or make it so we can spread them to the target or purge/turn into boons, something along those lines.
The teleport skill which also teleports targets, skill #9, I’d rework this because it is a bit odd. One thought for a rework would be to forgo the targeting and make it self cast which then teleports the enemy away and gives them cripple and some damage, that way it can stay a knokback. Alternatively, it could still be a ground cast skill but cripples anything around you as you are teleported away.

Deployable Turrets gone?

I am also wondering what class to play now. Yes I too put most of my energy and resources into Engineer. Glad I haven’t pre-ordered HoT yet and if destroying my favorite core features of my favorite class is what I have to look forward to, well then maybe I won’t.

Deployable Turrets gone?

Yeah I’m gonna shelve my Engi until I can use my turrets again (maybe even until I get my range back too) because I’d rather not deal with it in that broken form. Sure I could go firearms and weapon kits at maybe mid range(which the trait lines seem to be pushing HARD) and closer, but it takes the fun out of the class for me. Hey ANET, any word on if/when turret traits are going to be restored, even if it were a “new” trait line or specialization in HoT?

Or some of the other traits associated with turrets. If you are/were a turret engi, well not so much anymore >_<

Rollback on changes ETA?

I have given the changes a few days myself to set in and I am still non too thrilled about them. As someone who has played the game for a while now and likes to reroll toons so I can go exploring again, locking everything on me is a hindrance. Part of the fun for me has always been getting a new weapon and then unlocking it as I go hunting for vistas, grabbing skill points, and just exploring. Now, to me, starting a new toon seems to be an exercise in severe hand holding which I do not like. If you are going to keep these changes to help the new players, can you at least give those of us who have an idea what we are doing the option to, say, start at level 10 or somewhere along the line so we can jump back into the game instead of getting bogged down in the tutorials? Please stop “fixing” things which are not broken.
