Guild Wars 2

hey guys, i am spankthemunkey1, what i would like to find out is, is there anybody here that would like to kindly help me out with learning how to play guild wars 2 properly. i am only a level 36, my problem is that i am a disabled gamer that does not make friends easily as i am a very shy/ introvert type of person until i get to know people. i have a very nice partner and a 10 month old son, but we have no friends because of my disability and my other illnesses i have.
O h and by the way i am an old fart, i am a sad old 50 years young , i have been a gamer since the birth of gaming and have been using pc’s from day 1 and have had everything going from zx 81 to modern day pc’s. because of all my medication i have now lost my medium to short term memory, so when i am gaming i forget what i am doing what keys do what and it’s really frustrating but when i am told or shown how to do things it then gets ingrained in my mind, this is why i can’t read books because when i have read a page i have already forgotten what i have read.
I love to play gw2 but get rather bored playing on my own and i don’t want to stop playing the game. i live in the uk so if there is anybody willing to help from the uk that would be absolutely great, this is really hard for me to ask for help as i normally just muddle through at try to get things done on my own, but this is my plea for help.
So guys and galls, if you have the spare time and some real patience and don’t mind repeating yourself a few times to get through my thick head i would be most grateful for your help, i am available every day all day unless i have hospital appointments or doctors. i have a mic so would be able to use ts or skype. please remember you must have plenty of PATIENCE.

hey guys, i am pretty new to guildwars 2, i have mouse setup for buttons 2 through to 9, why is it that they only work for weapon set 1 and wont work when i change to the second weapon set ?. as it is i have to stick to using just the 1 weapon set as i cannot get used to using the 1-9keys on the keyboard. surely switching weapons should not make any difference as they use the same keys. any help would be greatfully appreciated.

hi everybody, if i want to join a guild, do i have to be on the server where the guild is based?. the next 1 is why does it cost 1800 gems to transfer servers?. the last 1 is if i wanted to transfer for free would i have to delete my character, as i am only level 27 at the moment as i have not had much time to play. i dont really want to delete my character.
sorry 1 more how much is 1800 gems worth in real money?

been trying to patch now for about 3 hours, restarted several times and it just keeps on having a fit, have even just let it sit in the background but nothing. on 1 occasion it got to 1% left and just kept on getting errors.
windows 8.1 downloading at 24-27kbps and getting nowhere
