I’ve been successfully running this support build during raid which uses clerics:
+1
Wanted to reinforce a few key points. It is disheartening to see so many arguments on the forums between folks who don’t like this game mode and those who do largely over what its being called. Often they mock it as ZergvZerg and make comparisons to GW1 GvG. I think it would go a long way to agreeing on a unique name for this game mode so that people not interested or misinformed don’t contribute so much negativity surrounding the topic. Personally, I support calling it Raid Scale PvP (rPvP) or gPvP and stick to referring to GvG from GW1 as just that: GW1 GvG.
Secondly, I think the emphasis on esports, leaderboards, business opportunities and queues should be avoided. This is not a larger version of sPvP, it’s a distinct game mode and the infastructure and marketing should not be mimicked. Queues obviously won’t work, the times would be gargantuan. Just implement instanced arena’s that hold up to 20 players that uses WvW gear. Make a few bucks selling them on the gem store and let the community organize their own matchups. This would allow matches between guilds in different tiers and eliminate trolls.
Finally, just wanted to reiterate the massive number of hours top guilds have invested in perfecting gameplay and theorycrafting, the passion is definitely evident. The Magic the Gathering reference with Commander was spot on and is evidence that a community invented game mode can succeed and how to properly incorporate such a game mode.

Apparently Fay and phokus don’t know how to read my original comment in which I state that “Mind Wrack is (now) GM trait in domination and was buffed.” in which I used the terminology Mind Wrack because that’s what OP was referring to. I am well aware it was renamed, didn’t think I needed to spell that out…
People in this thread not being completely clear:
Mind Wrack is GM trait in domination and was buffed.
No, mental torment is the GM trait in domination, and it has been buffed.
Mental Torment is just the old Mind Wrack trait renamed…

Master of Fragmentation combines the old traits in the Illusions line that buffed all the individual shatters. That is, higher crit chance for MW, an additional stack of confusion for CoF (instead of retal), AoE Diversion, and reflection on Distortion.
So you can go into Domination as usual for MW trait and don’t need to go into Illusions unless you want the additional shatter buffs.
I believe the intention was that for each tick you will get swiftness and one other random boon as opposed to a permanent swiftness bonus.
I don’t know why we’re even talking about it as a 10sec confusion stack, since getting the 6/6 implies you have the confusion duration from the runes.
Henceforth, a 13sec confusion stack on an 8sec icd.
lol, JQ wWw guardian at north SM tonight such a kitten, won’t fight unless surrounded by guards or guildies. I thought JQ would be up for fights considering they are “tier 1”. Dissapointed…

Just wondering if there is anyway to obtain SAB staff and backpiece skins now that the event has ended. Baubles are account bound, but commenters on Dulfy suggest you can buy the skins from the TP.
Any clarification would be much appreciated.
