Guild Wars 2

I’m just looking for a nice group of people to shoot the kitten with whilst doing some PvE. I’ve had my share of WvW, and now I want to kill some AI :P
I don’t know too much about PvE/Dungeon/Fractal meta, but I’d love to learn!
I wouldn’t mind a 100% rep guild (So long as short bouts to rep my bank guild are okay)

Wasn’t bragging, just telling the story from my perspective! It was the most fun I’ve had in this game to date, and it wouldn’t have been near as fun if YB wasn’t so good at holding inner garri. Also wouldn’t be nearly as fulfilling to finally cap it after 2.5 hours if SoS hadn’t wiped EB during the battle.
Honestly, I’d say the biggest winner of the whole ordeal was SoS. They didn’t have to deal with big resistance in EB at the time. Even YB didn’t really “lose” from that fight. They made off with boatloads of bags, as Dhemize said, and they took back garri not even an hour later. Overall it was just a lot of fun!

The way you finally got inner garrison down was from the 5 trebs built outside of NE tower just within reach to hit the wall. Couldn’t reach them by treb and couldn’t reach by foot because they were protected by a sea of Chinese.

It was fun and very profitable though. Hitting the entire FA Chinese zerg with cows lead to a massive bag haul as they threw themselves at a wall of Yaks. lol It was a sad day when they finally built a bali I couldn’t hit. Then 30 guardians were on me.

It was hella fun! You guys put on a great show, especially considering you could only get supply by running it that entire time. You probably got quite a few bags off me, lol. I was part of the group that kept poking around all possible entrances setting up catas, rams, ballis, etc. I remember just shortly after we got inside we’d almost taken down one of the inner walls with some well placed guild catas, but you guys sacrificed one of your golems and managed to take them all down with one spin attack. There were a few times where we thought we had you guys, but you’d come and clear us out just in time to save your walls/gates. It was so intense!

I had my favourite experience in GW2 so far a couple days ago. I’m on Fort Aspenwood (We’re currently matched with Sea of Sorrows & Yak’s Bend) and we managed to get into a two-and-a-half hour long battle for the Yak’s Bend Borderlands Garrison. We have a couple of chinese guilds on our server that are fantastic at getting into and winning huge zerg v zerg fights. One of them was causing havoc in YBBL by holding Hills and upgrading it. They’d been doing it for a good six hours and even had a waypoint up. Our little group decided that we’d go help them after helping defend our keep in EB from a Yak’s Bend blob, so while the chinese guild was putting up orange swords by one entrance to the YB Garri, our group went around and took down a different gate. After that, we portalbombed inner garri, but YB was ready for us. For the next two hours we caused YBBL to have a queue because it was just a massive brawl on the inside of the garrison. I’m talking 60+ of each server fighting inside that garrison. We tried and failed a good 7-8 different strategies to get kitten in the inner wall, but YB was very good at taking our siege down. Finally, somehow, we managed to get the inner north gate down, slaughtered the remaining Yak’s Bend, and took the keep. It was definitely the most epic battle I’ve ever been a part of.

Because both of our servers were preoccupied with that battle, we ended up letting Sea of Sorrows capture almost all of EB, but it was totally worth it to lose the PPT game for a few hours just to say we won. :P

Hey all! I’m a new-ish player (2.5 months) that’s looking for a group to do map completion, world bosses, dungeons, fractals, and the like with!
I’m already part of a fairly tight-knit WvW guild (I’m on Fort Aspenwood), but that’s all they ever do. Sometimes I like to take a break from zerg busting and kill some AI.
