Following up from an earlier post i made in regards to me not being able to finish the final chapter of HoT story mode, i have managed to fix the constant crashes, in my case the required ports that gw2 uses were not open on my router (virgin media super hub 3.0).

I had 4 attempts at the chapter and after every mordremoth kill when the cutscene started my client would crash with the same error code, as soon as i opened the ports i tried for the 5th time and did not have any crashes.

Same error code here, i can even replicate it….

on two occasions now i have killed mordremoth in the final chapter “hearts and minds” of the story line. Both times as soon as the final cinematic rolls i get kicked to character select screen and upon logging back in im left at the bottom of the helix outside the instance, thus preventing me from finishing the story.

This is my second run through after having originally completed it with no issue on my main.

The same error code also happened last night whilst doing twilight arbor story mode for the daily quest, as soon as the final boss was defeated i got kicked to character select.

So it seems in my case the problem is upon completion of instanced content i get kicked….anybody else experience a similar pattern?

Just had a thought….il try and replay “hearts amd minds” on my main and seem if i can duplicate the error, to determine whether it is actually character specific, il post an update when i confirm.

I have jus had an item returned that I had mistakenly trashed thinking it was something else.

Yes myself and several others have just encountered this and it is very annoying.

Please fix

please…… slow down on churning out new content whilst the fundamentals of the game have still got problems (some since day 1), mainly referring to class balance/bugs here.

Each profession sub-forum has long lists of bugs in regards to skills/traits/mechanics that are not working as intended, i know that it is nigh on impossible to fix every last bug in one go, but i would rather have a whole game update dedicated to profession bug fixing, than a new map/seasonal event (as great as they are).

aye we may be falling from grace but i had a blast yesterday fighting alongside TNA and a few other commanders, props to Eccentric / Kamikaze (the knight in shiny pink armour xD) / Aue (i think thats how you spell it :S) Caic (again not sure if thats correct spelling, my bad if not :p ) and anyone else that took the initiative to lead, we had some really nice battles

Hope to see some of you on the battlefield again. o/

id be interested to know aswell, i have the same cpu but running GTX260 Sli, i get around 30fps on medium high settings in PvE, but i would really like to WvWvW and that is not an option atm as when things start getting busy it drops to about 10fps and skill lag starts occuring.

Im due an excuse to upgrade aswell cala ^^ , can anyone reccommend a decent cpu/gfx combo that is good value for money? im not looking at paying the astronomical prices, then again i realise im not going to get what im after with the cheapest parts about, so something middle of the road.

I have heard good things about the “Intel Core i5-3570K” , any users care to share what fps they get in WvWvW when it gets busy?
