Hi there,

This is the second time I cannot complete “Steel Tide”. It is the second phase where you are required to control a tank and destroy the risen, however the event seems to last forever with repeatedly getting kicked off the tank and the camera angle bugging out, the turret continues to spin left or right when you get booted off so you have to waste more time turning the turret when you re-enter, only to get kicked out of the tank again when the turret is realigned, starting this cycle all over again.

I agree. I had the weekend off and spent quite a bit of time doing all the quests for the first two phases, just to have my lunch break come monday and miss out on the entire third phase, which I hear is a one time event only. That is pretty unfair for all the players that have other commitments.

What are you going to do about this Arenanet? You have been fantastic so far, very disappointed by this..

Hi all

I’ve been reading “Ghosts of Ascalon” the Guildwars novel. Flippin awesome read by the way, love GW lore! It mentions in the book the telling of the “Foefire” which was King Adleburns last attempt to rid the city of the Charr.

However portrayed in the book their are two versions, one told from a Charr known as Ember saying that the Foefire was caused from a clash of King Adleburns sword, “Magdaer” and the “Khan-Ur” which was wielded by a member from the Charr invasion.

In the second mention of the book it then goes on to tell that the Forefire was caused when all hope was lost when the Charr overran the city and thats when King Adleburn drove the sword into the ground announcing he will never retreat.

I apologize now if I have misunderstood the text or am missing something here but the story seems to contradict itself and I feel their is a good explanation for this, which of the two actually happened, and are their two different versions because the humans have accounted for it differently than the Charr?

CoF path 1 final boss buffed to unkillable?

Hello, yeah I had the same problem yesterday where it took us about 15 mins to kill the boss. However the following group I had didn’t take as long, but still a noticeable difference :S

I think this system would be fantastic. Some nights I rarely have enough time to waste LFG and also sick of porting to LA and back to my dungeon entrance trying to find a group.
