Forgot to mention VSync is always turned on, sorry. I’ve tried turning it off and on, and it doesn’t seem to affect the diminished frame rate. Even putting all graphical settings to minimum, i still get 33-35 FPS when set the limiter is set to 60. This doesn’t happen all the time, but the interval between it occurring is shortening.

Sure thing. My specs are :
Windows 8 64bit (may be related to the problem)
i7-3770k 3.5GHz
16GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670

I have this problem as well, but i’m afraid i don’t have any answers. It’s not really been much of a problem for me as it’s only for 2-3 seconds and doesn’t seem to affect performance in-game.

Hi there, so normally, i have my FPS limiter set to 60, and i usually get 58-60 FPS. However, on occasion (5-6 times now) i get half that, around 33-35 when the limiter is set to 60 FPS, 20-25 when set to 30 FPS and 50-55 when set to Unlimited.

I have no idea what the cause could be, and i can’t seem to stop it (it does it on it’s own accord). Not even restarting helps. I’m not sure if it’s the game or my PC that’s at fault. Any ideas? Thanks.

I have an NVIDIA GeForce 670 if that helps.
