Guild Wars 2

I am also having this issue i noticed a huge slow up of the game and i was crashing to desktop. I just bought i new really fast graphics and thought it was overheating but i dont think so now. I was having the issue in sims 3 also. That seems to have resolved itself. But today i thought that my crashes were due to my machine overheating and that might have corrupted my GW 2 game. So i uninstalled GW 2 and i now i am having a connection error and i can not download the client.

I have been having crashing issues with GW lately so i decided remove the game and reinstall to test if there was a corrupt file caused by a known overheating issue i had earlier this week. So i unistalled guild wars and came to the site to download my client and the client will not install. It tells me there is internet connection issue. There is none. I am obviousely online.

It actaully tells me download failed due to internet conection issues. Try again later.

Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

No it does not, it just kicks to destop. GW@setup.exe that the issue is with. I contacted support and they gave me some things for him to try. Hopefully it works for him. Apparently the problem starts with the router. If your going to direct download this game you should bypass the router they say. But we will see. Thank you for the fast reply.

I bought this game for my friend so he could join me in GW2. We have been having nothing but issues getting this game to work on his machine. I made the investment i want to see if there is anyone who can help.

When he tries to run installer the launch window crashes and no message comes up. he got a “serious error message” and he reports it. He has read the forums and done a lot of suggestions that are outlined here. He has an older machine but it plays SWTOR and “can you run it” stated can run this game. .

He can’t access the forums so I am going to post his dxdiag logs for him, can some technical person please offer any advise, thanks in advance.
