As to the game being a mess, that is your opinion. Personally I think the game has more polish and much better systems in place than many other contenders in the genre at the moment.

personal story totaly not a mess, random npcs that i never heard about, story feels chopped up at points, final stage of personal story (Aka: zhaitan fight) fillled whit bugs

LS also not messed up in any point a entire season gone, that interduces characters that you are teamed up whit in season 2, a feeling of messing content because you didnt get the game sooner, and mind you this is not small content its part of the story that leads to the expantion, its like reading the first book then being made to read the 3º book in the trilogy… well that sounds to me like a nice polished experience.
lets not mention the rest of the content that will not be re worked because well we have new shiny things arround.
look i would love the expantion, but an expantion can not be built on a messed up foundation. the entirety of content must be appealing or Anet will simply divide the playerbase, because old not shiny contents hasn’t recieved some polish.

Are people asking for an update already?!

Its been one day people… ONE day! Not one week or one month… one DAY! They have much more important things to do right now than give us daily updates. One of those things is fixing the problem. I’d rather they didn’t waste their time on pointless updates.

Just give them a chance, they will update us as soon as they can.

Well, technically it has been 2 weeks and 2 days from last updade and its not like it that small , defiance changes, port skill chages, possible story changes and gem store items.
I know they are bussy whit all the stuff going on but still, they cant just concentrate on new flashy stuff and leave the bases of the game unpolish and a complete mess as they are, thats the content that new players are experiencing and will sway their view on the game besides not a good way to bring players back, also comparing this situation whit other companies handeling of similar situations, they give some reasuring of a timeline.
Also they have made basically a promise of biweekly updates and ofcorse its hard to keep, but when theres an expantion and the patches just get delayed that can ring some bells of alarm that the normal content might be getting droped into the back ground and forgoten.
