Bump.. It JUST happened again during the Marionette event. Tried all suggestions with weapon swapping to way pointing and nothing helped. After we lost the event I tried to log to character screen and log back in and it was fixed.

Does anyone know if you can log out during the event and log back in to complete it?

Same thing happened last night to my girlfriend during the Marionette event. She was fighting and suddenly lost her ability to use most of her skills. Strangely enough she could use her F keys and number 7 and 8 abilities but the rest wouldn’t work. When you click then it shows being depressed but no actions happens.

We haven’t mentioned anything before as its only happened a couple times but now to see it being a bigger problem others are having so hopefully Anet will take a look at what might be happening.

Same thing here. Inkie is correct its repeatable when going into the daily achievements drop down menu. I was able to repeat the same lock up 3 times in a row. I went into the game one more time and tried all other drop downs and had no problems. I went back to the daily one and it locked up again.

The only strange occurance I noticed was when I was in WvW and I went to put the Daily Camp Capturer on the watch list, it appeared there twice. After that is when it started locking up. I was on earlier with no problems before that.

I just confirmed my girlfriends account doesn’t lock up on the Daily drop down on the same computer my account does. I checked and there are two Daily Mists Camp Capturer achievements in the daily and would guess to say that is causing the issue with the lockups.

It would be great to get a quick response from the powers to be could look into this and let us know if thats the cause.

I really appreciate your response Natsu. I think once I get the rotation nailed down a bit better I will see a big difference. I know for sure I have escaped some major outnumbered fights with this setup.

Hey Natsu can you or someone for that matter give us a quick rundown on the rotation you use to maximize the damage stacking and confusion for this build. I just started using it and it seems I get some decent conditions but I feel I am missing some oppurtunities.

Is there any way to continue to use the Deposit Collectable button to dump all those items in our banks but NOT have our Mini deposit as well? I really enjoy bring out the Mini’s when I am out and about but nothing is more frustrating when I do a deposit and poof there goes my little buddy.

I was wondering if there is any chance or way to allow us to use the refined materials as trade in for the Zephyr Supply Boxes? I admit I have become quite the hoarder of materials but I refined a good portion of them.

If the vendor requires 250 ore couldn’t we use 125 bars which nets the same amount for a supply box? PLEASE!!! =)

I have been having lag issues as well so I’m glad to hear its not just me. To add a bit more to it, my girlfriend was sitting right next to me playing on a 2nd computer and didn’t have one lag issue the whole time. I actually got disconnected multiple times during that time.

Nothing worse then being in dungeon or just in the world, lagging out, getting disconnected and coming back dead. At least I had someone there to rez me but its frustrating to say the least. Its been happening a bit longer then the last 2 days. Before that everything has been running smooth.

I can’t seem to grasp the concept that if nothing has changed on my network, computer system, setup in general, that I should be trying things to make the downloads work normally from my end.

I really hope Anet takes a look at changes made after the Jan 28th patch that may have caused some issues with their update patches that followed. Note that the original Flame and Frost update work perfectly fine. It was the additional patches that followed which had the slowdowns people are talking about.

Same issue for me. Download speeds drop down to 0kb/sec then pop back up then back to 0 for a while. Exactly the same issue as last night with the patch. Surprised no one has acknowledged it.

I am having the same exact issue on both my desktop and laptop right now. They are sitting at 0kb/sec and every 30 seconds or so it pops up to 3-5kb then back to 0kb.

I also had no issues updating the main patch yesterday.

This is probably a silly question but are you referring to the armor earned through playing in PvP that can be transmuted for the look and used outside of PvP?

We have tried all conbinations to purchase a digital copy of the game off the website last night and again this morning. Each time we get invalid information entered when uising a credit card and an error occured using Paypal.

We tried both Visa and Amex, tried my card and her card, Paypal with no success. Just to be safe we tried different browsers, tried to purchase the regular copy too still no luck.

I submitted a support ticket for help and have had no response yet. I have been a big supporter of Anet and love the game but something like this has been beyond frustrating as I am trying to bring a friend to the game which in turn may bring more purchases in the future from her friends.

I would appreciate some sort of response from Anet on this issue as keep hearing support tickets take 2-3 days to hear back from.

We have tried just about every credit account conbination and even Paypal with no success. Paypal just says error and all credit cards say invalid information was entered. We even tried different web broswers just in case as well.

I am amazed when it comes to a source of income that Anet isn’t on top of this right away.

Funny you mentioned that Vain. We tried 3 cards two of them were hers and one was mine and both didn’t.t work. 2 different Visa cards and one Amex.

Trying to purchase the game with the Black Friday sale for the deluxe version and we have tried 3 different credit cards and they all keep telling us invalid information entered. We checked and rechecked so its not with the credit cards. We were going to use the paypal but apparently its not part of the Sale for some reason.

Its a little frustrating process and I hope Anet corrects it soon as I would hate to have my friend give up and not buy the game.

Great info Osicat and awesome videos as well. Quick question… Would it be feasible to level with your build or is it too difficult? I think if its ok to level with, someone can just about perfect it by the time they hit 80 or be pretty darn close.

If it is feasible, any thoughts on how to spend your traits to get the most benefits right away?

See Zetoe you pointed out a feature of the game that’s nice as well. No subscription so if you don’t like the game as much as it appears you can just stop playing it. =)

My main reason was for the WvW. I was hoping to find something even close to DAoC which I still feel was the best Player vs Player MMO to this day. Much to my surprise the PvE aspect is a blast and I haven’t even found myself jumping in WvW near as much yet.

Well to be honest for me I feel like I’m accomplishing something even spending an hour online. I haven’t played many MMO’s that didn’t require a monthly subscription so part of the reason I may be more relaxed about GW2 is I don’ t feel I need to get my monies worth every month, and like others posted, I don’t seem like I will fall behind by not playing enough.

I’m probably a bit older then most people posting but over that last few years I found myself not wanting to be glued to the computer as much so GW2 is a perfect fit. DAoC was my all time favorite game for PvP which is the main reason I started GW2. Its funny how I haven’t wanted to jump right into WvW here as the PvE and all it has to offer is holding my attention right now.

Just my 2 cents. Well maybe 3 cents. =)

What I find strange is someone like Shooopa posting in these threads talking negative about the game but at the same time not moving on to go play another game you actually enjoy.

I’m looking forward to the Halloween update and like most others will check it out and enjoy what it has to offer.
