Step two in chapter 8 is marked in the Black Citadel however, but cannot be reached there.

I just finished the personal story and was very confused when I got the first mail related to the living story chapter 8. I was about to start chapter 1 now with this character.

Also confirmed I could actually play chapter 8.

Thanks everyone for sorting it out. As mentioned I wanted to create an exotic, not anything ascended.

What still doesn’t make any sense to me now is why there is no information whatsoever about the disciplines that can use the inscription.

That explains part of it. Always nice to know that I made something that is completely useless. But then the question, as you said, is why the disciplines are not listed.

I just made a “Zealot’s Orichalcum Imbued Inscription” using my artificer, but now I can’t use it to create my planned trident, as it doesn’t show up in the crafting interface.

Also, hovering the mouse over the inscription does not list any crafting disciplines at all.
