Since December 2013, I have bought and installed GW2 in my desktop and played with it up to now without getting an Authorise log-in attempt. I only get that if I am using my laptop that I have been bringing in other place, and that only happened couple of times.
Two days ago, as I was about to login to my account on my desktop when it asked me to confirm my log-in attempt. That is a surprise for me that I have been using this desktop for more than 2 years without moving its location. When I got a mail from Anet, I noticed that the city does not match my current city I live and where the desktop has been sitting for over. However, the country and ip address shown is accurate.
I approved first time after consecutive of trying the network but I did not tick Remember Network.
When I switched to my laptop, it asked me on log-in attempt authorisation again. I went to check my mail, the city changed but the country and ip address still matches.
I have sent a ticket 2 days ago but I still haven’t got any response. Ticket number is 1219350.
Yesterday I decide maybe it’s just the city. So I decide to tick Remember Network after it asked me for another log-in attempt authorisation. I manage to relog back into the game couple of times without e-mail.
Hoping to not get another e-mail for authorisation, IT ASKED ME AGAIN AFTER I TICKED THE REMEMBER NETWORK YESTERDAY AND I STILL YET TO GET A RESPONSE FROM MY TICKET. I’ve been using this computer, this network in same location for a long time now and I don’t want to just frustrate myself over a game login but I am having that right now and I feel like just throwing this computer from the highest building near me right now.
