Alright so https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Human_male_heavy_armor has all of the ascended heavy armor in the game… Wow. Didn’t know it was going to end up looking that bad. I have 0 motive to try and craft any of those. Guess I’ll take my leave.
Well… I have two questions for you guys, first off, should I make a revenant? And if so what weapons should I use? And also, what do you guys think will happen in season 4? If Guardians are being nerfed, then who will be buffed?
Hello! A pretty unexperienced PvP player here, looking to see what the current meta is in pvp. I am going to buy heart of thorns, with a max level booster and use it on a character purely for fighting in WvW and PvP.
I found a fix. I opened the Gw2Setup.dmg, but this time, I dragged the Guildwars2installer.app to my desktop and tried running it from there… And it works… Please include an arrow or a message so that dumb ***es like me will know to drag the guildwars2installer to their desktop/applications folder, thanks!

I belive because of something incompatabile with the select_directory window…
Odd solution:
1) create a folder for a game
2) put a Gw2Setup.exe in it
3) change its name to Gw2.exe
4) run
in my case it begun downloading files in current directory…”
If the client is downloading and then crashes, the next time you open the client again it’ll continue to download from where it left off (It’ll starts at 0% again but the number of remaining files will be shorter than last time you opened it). It’s annoying but sometimes that happens.
It will not let me open the client again, I double click guildwars2.app but nothing happens.
OK I guess it would be a good idea to send my crash report… But I don’t want to copy and paste the whole thing in here as a comment. I remember there being a good website where you can copy and paste text into a page, and save it as a tinyurl link and share it with people… Kind of like IMGUR but for text, not photos. Anyone know what I’m talking about?
Hello! I am unable to completely download Guild Wars 2. I deleted all traces of the game a while back, but now I want to get back into it.
- I do not have a firewall
- I am running OS X 10.10.1 on a mid-2011 iMac
- I have 50 GB of free storage space on my computer
- I have previously been able to download with no trouble
So, I went over to my account page and downloaded the client. I successfully downloaded the Guild Wars 2 Installer, and from there I successfully installed the Guild Wars 2.app, coming out to be a total of 98.5 MB in size. From there, the installer closed, and the guild wars 2 app automatically opened and began downloading, and then updating. It stopped downloading only a minute or two in. I will attach a few screen shots of all of this.
I checked my console and it says that the program did in fact crash… I do not know how to read crash reports so I will need help determining the problem. I will attach the crash report only if someone here absolutely needs it to determine the problem.
