I could say the same about the entire trilogy of Guild Wars and what it has become…

They also never bothered to write it in the item description that the said items can’t be used in WvW. Really dumb…

Those aren’t even actual game modes. There is WvW, s/tPvP, PvE. Make an entire arena where you can GvG, than you can call that a game mode etc. Lol at anyone implying WvW is actually good in its current state.

I was split between Karl Pilkington and Marcello DiGiacomo. Who i hear you ask?—-the Heal-o-Tron’s sparing partner from Wintersday ( http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Marcello_DiGiacomo ). So the question is-how, and who on earth gave him a pilots license? I think its a scam, as I have yet to see that airship lift off!

The first time I did that oil collection event my friends and I got super hype and proceeded to board the ‘air ship’ against a zerg running at us. We hoped the air ship would take off before the zerg reached us.

It didn’t.

Guild Wars 2 is that rich friend you get to hang out with and do all this cool kitten for free, but in reality he just isn’t that fun and frankly quite shallow.

Guild Wars 1 is that cool friend from your youth you have the best memories with that got lobotomized and is now barely capable of raising his own hands. Playing with him only makes you feel bad about the good times you had.

RIP Guild Wars, I will never forget you.

People really need to calm down. I know everyone is upset/frustrated with how things are handled but ruffling out feathers, picking on other peoples views, and attacking the very people trying to solve the problem isn’t going to help anyone.

You guys might feel better yelling at Anet for not testing out this system as much as they should have, but it kind of comes with the territory we are playing a game that is being -constantly- built without anyone -needing- to pay a single cent more for the content. You should really be happy for that fact, still frustrated? Yeah, you deserve to be. No one said, You can’t be. There is no need to act out, as negativity will beget negativity.

Anet -did- make a good call by not giving access to the full rewards – as much as I, too would be happier with my weapons. By not giving us access to the weapons it protects further mistakes from happening and gives them a chance to see if other bugs are in the code that might cause problems. It sucks I know… but I’d rather wait for them to get it right, then get it fast. Go for quality and what not.

So far I think the Dev team has done a good job with all the work and effort they put into GW2. Unfortunately, it is -these- events that actually further the problems. All of us who got our chests want things to speed up so we can get on with our own stuff which will leave the other players that didn’t get their chest -jaded- in the dust. Telling Anet to speed up and continue to develop while they look into a known problem will only cause more and then there will be more complaints over that.

Where I work we have a single big rule to live by. “Right first time.” … and if it isn’t… make it right so that everything else can be “Right first time.” The more QQ, the more aggression, the more frustration, the more problems will be caused… So I just ask you guys to relax a little, chill out, enjoy the game. Your stuff will be here soon enough and it will very likely work 100% fine after they get over whatever hurdle this is.

Wrong. You fall into the category of the few that still defend Anet for no good reason. Not needing to pay a cent? Sure, but the fact is they make a fortune off of the gem store, they would probably make less if they just charged everyone for a subscription. Also, the dev team made good changes? This is the WvW forum last time I checked, they haven’t done anything to make WvW a better/new/exciting experience. WvW has practically been the EXACT same since day 1.

Why do a small minority of people keep defending repeated failure?

I haven’t actually posted in defense, but if I cared enough I certainly would simply for the fact that it seems 95% of the posts chastising Anet are making kittened arguments. My personal favorites are “they had 9 weeks to get this right” and “this wouldn’t be a problem if they were at least letting us know”. Well, unfortunately unforseen bugs are unforseen, and getting a play by play on bug fixing doesn’t do kitten.

Why are some people still saying this was unforeseen??? This happened with Season1 rewards, and now Season 2.

I think we’re all excited to get our delicious rewards from the tournament, but I’m sure you guys are busting your butts to figure the bug out so no worries.

Don’t stress about all the complaining. GW2 is a fantastic game and a lot of people take it for granted and don’t realize that humans are behind it.

Please don’t act like they’re doing us favors. They’re just doing their jobs and all that they can, which honestly isn’t much because at the end of the day we still have nothing tangible in terms of actual new WvW content and rewards.

I get that kitten happens; no one expects for updates to go perfectly every single time. However, the WvW season was seven? weeks long and the only thing that ANet had to get right was the reward distribution and they couldn’t even handle that.

And how would you sort something out before you even know it would happen?

And how would you not see something like this coming even though you knew it happened like 10 weeks ago? Aka season 1.

This is unacceptable. We pay good money for a game only to have to wait for promise rewards. If you guys at ANet can’t support the things you advertize for your game than maybe you should rethink what you post to the players. We look forward to the events you hold and put in hours to complete the achievement meta to get the rewards for that event, then we are told we have to wait as their was a problem. Their never should have been a problem. You could have had this solved way before the tournament was over if you did the proper testing. Get it right for once. I feel that you guys just don’t care because you already have our money and we have no choice to accept what happens. Don’t get me wrong as I love the game, but I am getting tired ov all the crap. Work it out and think in advance net time.

I am happy to see at least some communication from Anet. Do we have an ETA? I’m not too picky; I am a bit miffed about the wait but the wait is insignificant as long as we actually do get our stuff this time around.

If there was an ETA they would’ve told us yesterday. Anet is not big on ETAs, they know the possibility of actually delivering on time isn’t the greatest.

In fact, we already had an ETA of June 3rd. Look what happened to that, and look what happens when you don’t deliver on time.

They will never do that, because they’re not working on a single thing. WvW S1 rewards anyone?

There wouldn’t be vertical gear progression they said.
There would be a major change in WvW with the seasons they said.
There would be ‘rewards’ for S1 they said.
There would be rewards for S2 they said.

I’m seeing a pattern here.

Looking for a guild/people/person or whatever to play WvW with. I like to run in gigantic circles in WvW and kill people and every time I make a complete circle without dying I reward myself with a cake, you should do the same. I have da skypez and ts, but don’t care if you don’t have it. I mainly play a ranger and the occasional guardian when I’m full of cake. I obviously don’t take my daily cardio workout in WvW all too seriously, but I would like people to try and win because dying sucks and I hate feeding other people’s egos.
