I got legendary ‘twilight’ recently and equipted it but it doesn’t yeild any achievement on my list or my login page.

about half hour (-.-) He isnt a easy guy to solo. Not going to lie!

Is it alright if I make a speed clear guide for the community?

If you are looking for someone to trade. Make sure add them as friend first and looking their achievement points can tell you how much they play the game. Tell them to post a screenshot with current time. <—- THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!
If they post the screenshot right away you can comfirm they are not photoshop stuff. With the fourms on lid it is very unlikely you will get scammed but there are still risks.

I would say if you are making a trade you will probably sent the item first. (I know it is scary but in order to let the other guy trust you that you are not scamming him).
take a screenshot of your item sent and when you recieve the item take another screenshot. It will probably slove it this way better.

I agree for some part and disagree for the majority of what you just said.

First, let’s assume precursor can be obtained some other way other than using mystic forge then the question is how we going to have a stable market with the extoics/rares?
the entire trade post will be flooded with them because you only need one time upgrade then you are pretty much done. Who is going to buy all those rares and extoics to keep the price high? or should all the rares and extoics fall below current market line? if there is no sink for those items there will be no use for them at all except turning them into ectos. (pretty much the price is dropping as well)

Second, let’s assume people can get precursor by running massive number of dungeons and trade tokens or dungeon master titles (which they will probably just speed run all of them and get them within 2-3 days) so now everyone has precursor and the legendary part isnt really difficult to get since the mats are really cheap now. They also made monthly achievement + daily + dungeon (with karma buff). Unlike those who was grinding orr like a bot few weeks before they obtained legendaries. So with this now everyone has legendaries wouldn’t that make you feel just like everyone else? why obtain the legendary at first place if everyone can get it easily?

Third, this is the part you makes me lid for a moment. You said wipe out existing precursors on the market? are you kidding me? most of them in the market right now are the one being made AFTER the godskull nerf and as we heard from A-net they ONLY nerf the lower level ones they did not touch other drop rate formulas besides that. I have a dawn I made after the patch recent ago. Are you saying to tell them to remove it because YOU didn’t get one? I think that is pretty unfair opinion you just made there. There are number of people in game who just recently made their precursor and they pulled in a lots of resource into it. Of course some of them have help from their guild but most of them done it alone just like me.

Lastly, buying a precursor may seems impossible to some of you especially if you play less 2 hours a day but there are ways to make gold without farming Orr. You can farm TP if you know how to invest. I know people that made 500g every week spending like half hour on TP alone. Some people buy, some people sell. This is a real world market. Take adventage during special events (halloween)(wintersday)(new year festavial)(ect.). I might post a how to TP gold guide under the black-lion trade section but really….precursor has been talking about a lot and the price will be maintained as long there are competition sellers in the market.

This is one of the hella scariest trade in my life!!!

I really like the theif’s starter head gear Anonymity Hood, but unforuntally I cannot find any similar skins in the game and I cant transmute it because it was soulbound at the start. (I sold it for a copper because I thought I won’t need it, but unfortunally that’s the skin I would like to transmute). Is there another way to obtain starter gear or craft one?

people don’t realize that there are more people with the item (because they refuse to sell) than those who tries to make profit (those put items in TP). I know 12 people who had dusk, spark, dawn, the legend. I am pretty sure there are many many more in the server who had those but they’re currently working on their legendary and not selling the precursor so you might think not man people have it or there aren’t many in TP (less competitor, more demand, higher the price). The precursor is the only way to reduce the extoics and rares in the economy right now, due to there are no superior item than extoic once you get the one-time upgrade. If they increase the precursor drop rate as it is now then it will reduce the price but it will hurt the economy in the long run.

So, I was wondering why no one throw in 100 extoic greatsword instead of rares. Didn’t dev mentioned that lvl 80 extoics give better chance to get a prescursor from? Everyone is throwing in rares and the chance is significantly lower so why many people are attempting this. I’m confused!

This trick no longer works because recently the 3 item + 1 stone now have greater chance to return lvl 76 and lvl 78 item instead of lvl 80 extoics. But, you can gamble with it because it still return lvl 80 sometimes but the chance is greatly reduced compare to before.

If the current price on the market seems to unjust to many people, then
how much do you think precursor should cost??

the precursor is super rare and I doubt the range of the random ratio now is about

If it is true that the precursor is that rare then why so many people are complaining about the prices? I don’t get it. Enlighten me!

able to display health or health %. especially in dungeons and pvps it will help a lots of players I am sure. with the health bar (number hidden) as it now it would be really difficult to get a gereneralization to engage anything without a help.

As the title said.
I will also add this though, I tried to run this dungeon for one week over 20 different groups. Some people are really experienced (with other dungeons) and some arent but in general this dungeon is just brutal. You could be lucky if you can finish this dungeon with zerging the boss with waypoint but wiping the entire group over and over then reset the boss is just too much. After 3 hours later, people in the group cant stand the frustration and starts to leave and then replacement doesn’t make any different from before it just repeat another 3 hours until the group finally disband. I mean, really? is it even possible to finish this dungeon? if you have completed the explorable mode are you able to post or share some of your strategies with the rest of us?
