I agree, another couple of days isn’t going to hurt anything. Let’s take a running tally here in the forum. Necromancer Guild was not even a choice in the straw poll so I voted Lich Slap for lack of anything else I liked. Each person gets one vote. If that’s cool then

I think the name Necromancer Guild [DEAD] has a lot of support behind it. 4 votes that I can tell anyway. Considering it was not a choice under the initial poll I chose Lich Slap, but honestly I would much rather change my vote to Necromancer Guild [DEAD]. It just sounds too epic to pass up!

Spellofiniquity, can we get an actual vote on this name?

You know, there’s actually nothing wrong with something so simple. It’s obvious to everyone, just like the thieves guild or warriors guild in Elder Scrolls. You automatically know what you’ll find in that guild.

One thing I want to point out. I’m sure many of us will actually be members of more than one guild. I think an important rule to post in our bylaws is that under no circumstance should any character other than a necromancer be allowed to represent the guild. It would just muddy up the theme of the guild if people switched toons and didn’t change the guild they were representing.

That’s too bad about not having numbers in the guild name. I thought that had a really nice ring to it.

I voted, I’m anxious to see what our name will be. I hope as we grow I’ll get to run with an all Necro PvP group. The opposing team will look at the lineup and be like, " wtf ?!?!?! "

I am so down for joining an all necromancer guild. I was just thinking about this myself last night. I do want an invite. I agree that [DEAD] is the perfect tag. My cheesy2 cents on names would be something like Festering Necrosis or Necrology 101. Something that keeps “Necro” in the name.
