About us
The Invictus Knights is a guild on Sorrow’s Furnace founded on September 2012. We are dedicated to having a friendly, team-focused, and fun-loving environment that focuses on its members. We seek to foster long-term friendships between members and maximize the enjoyment we have in Guild Wars 2 and beyond through those friendships.
Why join us?
The truth is, there are several guilds that do things better than us. There are several more-or-less established guilds out there recruiting players in /map interested in “PvP/PvE/PvX/WvW/sPvP/AC/CM/ABCD/DEF/GHI” (whatever that is) and claiming to be so drama-free that they hunt down theater majors on sight. These guilds offer the same things as everyone else, and if they’re anything like guilds on any other game they usually either won’t deliver on their promises or they’ll die out in a matter of months.
Invictus Knights is emerging as a guild that we feel has a lot of qualities that we feel are special to us and makes us stand out from the crowd. We’re starting our journey on the game, not trying to recruit simply warm bodies to fill up the ranks, but friends to experience what the game has to offer and compatible with our community. We’re very serious about staying on this game for the long term and creating something together that will last.
Joining our community
As we start out, we’re aiming to be one of the more selective guilds on our server. We don’t want people who spend hundreds on the game or can solo Champion-bosses with their eyes closed. We are looking for people who, ultimately, are compatible with our community. We spend time with prospective members before they join to make sure that they’re not only the right kind of person for our guild, but that our guild can offer to them what they want to get out of the game.
Overall, we are looking for mature, friend-focused, professional, fun-loving, long-term guild members. We expect a certain level of competency out of guild members, and at the same time, we are looking for people who can add to our guild’s culture and be a part of our community on Guild Wars 2.
