Need a good build for HoT

I’m running GS/ Mace+Shield, full Zerker gear. Specializations: strenght, defense, berserker, utilities: berserker spec heal, the new cc breaker shout from the elite spec, dolyak signet, precision signet, head butt

The defense spec goes very well with head butt + cc breaker shout, then you have the automated defy pain that gives you the time to use the healing utility, go in berserk mode and heal back up to full hp with a GS primal burst, also the healing from the berserker elite spec (the one that heals you by25% hp under a certain threshold) makes you even more durable.

Sorry if I am not clear but I cannot remember the trait names and I’m writing from my phone, just play around with strenght, defense and berserker spec and you will notice how many nice interactions you can find!

Reaper good for Front-Line Tanking in Zergs?

I’m mostly talking about Brazil’s tank build. You know, the OP 100% crit chance tank build that everyone uses in the jungle, but other builds work fine too. How is our survivability in the front lines with Reaper?

You know his build is badly unoptimized for a tank build and you can do WAY better?
(Look up my big build post speal from a few days back on my name, it’s close to max-optimization for this role)

I can’t find the post you are talking about, why is knight’s the worst? What do you suggest?

The build is here….http://imgur.com/a/Uq5K6. And you can find his post if you just look up his postings!

Thank you, I’ve been scrolling though his posts but still couldn’t find it, guess I’m blind :v

Need help with PvE gear

Running a Rabid Condi Necro with minions is pretty idiot-proof. The extra Toughness will make you harder to down while the heavy condition damage will help burn down even the Mordem Husks pretty quickly. Meanwhile, the minions will provide a bunch of extra targets for enemies to deal with, giving you even more time to breath. You want to go Death/Soul Reaping/Curses for maximum tankiness (though you could switch to Spite/Soul Reaping/Curses for a bit more damage). You could also mix in some Carrion gear if that’s easier for you to get.

It also helps that you can get Rabid armor for Karma from one of the Orr temple vendors, making it basically free to gear up. There are also a lot of condi Rune sets you can pick up on the cheap, making it an even more economical setup.

The other option would be to take a mix of Knight’s and Valkyrie’s armor, go Spite/Soul Reaping/Blood, and load up on Wells for a nice Vampire build. You’ll tear people up while constantly healing yourself back at a good pace, and you won’t even be very squishy to begin with, either.

Allright sweet, thank you for the input! That video they linked me earlier is pretty kitten nice too! I will probably go for condi rabid build untill I hit level 80 and then work on getting the reaper elite spec to use that tanky/damaging reaper build, thank you guys for the help

you can still play through HoT in zerker, its just harder than the base game, if you really cant play in zerker
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cADpIZJ3H-M
then do that

I’ll check the vid out later, it’s nt like I can’t play zerker in HoT, but it’s kinda annoying to be downed and to always be around 10% hp during fights ^^’

Hi everyone, I want to reroll my main into a necro since the warrior elite spec is so underehelming and I often find myself downed in the HoT areas as a zerk gear war.

I’m very noobish and I’d likesome help to figure out what gear could suit a necro: I ’m looking for decent dps while also being somewhat survivable in the Maguuma jungle.

You can play all the base content with full zerk gear but this isn’t the case with the HoT content.

I do play group content but I like exploring on my own to get all the mastery points/hero points etc

Thank you for the help!

The event, as it is, doesn’t promote a proper way of playing the game. The best result can only be acquired by “tag and run” methods, which are not how the game is supposed to be played. This is further encouraged by the fact that the rewards are abysmal and force people to aim for the best without any other option if they want to get some of the most sought after items (cosmetics)

To solve this, rewards should be slightly higher and based upon the amount of events completed by the whole map. This would let people enjoy the events in a less stressful way and stick with them in order to complete them. This would also encourage the use of commander tags not only to make huge zergs that tag events but also to properly organize different groups of players that are aimed at completing singular events, giving a higher sense of strategy to the whole thing.
