Getting tired of solo queuing and being in heavily outnumbered fights in wvw cause I do not have much people to play with. From what I have seen while playing, my server does not seem to have much skilled small man groups that wvw and pvp. I’m looking for a small but active guild with very experienced and skilled players that can hold their own when roaming and in tpvp. Not interested in a big zergy guild. I would also prefer for the guild to be NA and not be in any top tier servers where there is major skill lag cause my computer probably can’t handle it. I main a thief and also play a guard. I have about 600 wvw lvls and I’m currently lvl 40 in pvp. Message me if you think your guild fits my description and if you think I might be a good fit. I’m not in a rush to transfer because I want to make sure I will be in a server/guild that I will permanently stay in since transferring is ridiculously expensive.

Also imo the people that are calling HOD silver dodgers need to realize this same thing would be happening if it was NSP, SF, Kaineng, or IoJ so what you are saying is really childish. This was already seen on forums the week before league when NSP was playing GoM. Plenty of posts with people accusing NSP of dodging. Just play the game and stop QQing.

YES. FIGHT CLUB. Can we have it at reset (7pm est) on Wednesday? I know it’s usually on Thursday but Wednesday is a far superior day to Thursday imo. And sense it’s usually done in the winning team’s bl, I guess it’d be behind the windmill at GoM bl. So…

Heya, Merc asked for fight night to be such earlier:
“Reminder: Fightclub Thursday 9pm EST HoD BL (Yes, we’ll be nice and make the run)”
That’s 6pm server time, one hour after reset I believe. So if you can make it, come out! If we want to have two separate fight nights for whichever reason, that’s certainly fine too

Duelers really should stick to the PvP dueling maps and not waste queue in WvW.

Yea, I think Anet agrees with you too. But WvW’s dueling is actually very split from sPvP dueling. For example, sPvP has one amulet for all your stats with not every type available, while WvW allows you more customization. In addition, not everyone knows how to use sPvP. This kinda leads into the last point that people in WvW are looking to not only duel, but to meet people! This is especially true for me. In HotM, you don’t really know which server someone’s from, or if they’re even in your league (note: not skill related!).

Resultantly, WvW duels allow people to meet others who like to duel and whom they will see out in WvW.
Finally, it’s WAY easier to organize large dueling groups pertaining to particular servers in WvW itself.

Just ignore him he is a nub. Its not like any of these servers will have a queue at the bl on the weekdays anyways.

Haven’t been to a fight club in AGES. I’ll definitely be behind GoM’s windmill tomorrow. Hopefully others will do the same, yes?

I would like for there to be a fight club as well. Been a while since I have last seen one so I will definitely try to make it.

I was never denying anything aside from how I stated it was boring yesterday roaming in et bl with some people cus there weren’t any good fights. The guy makes it sound like he was destroying me and my guild, which we should have noticed in that case, but on the contrary I’m pretty sure we never ran into any good players that night.

My comment was for those of us at GoM who are genuinely as shocked as anybody, that we went from last place with horrible turnout, to some sort of craziness where we are sitting on queues. I’m not self congratulating, I am just commenting how insane it is that we, one week ago, would lose everything over the night and during the day, and then when we all get home from work would have to take it all back. This is how it’s been going for months. So, to see 600 points a tick when we’d normally have like 50, is very very weird. Just because you put a negative spin on it, doesn’t mean I did. I said, and will say again, we are winning by sheer numbers, not skill at the moment, not sure how I can be any more clear than that.

This may be due to the “sale” on transfers combined with the start of leagues. I think peeps on larger pop servers want a chance to win their matches vs. getting pummeled on their old server, so they did the math, picked the likely top server for each match, and spent their 800 gems. If true, enjoy your new-found zergness (along with the queues……who’d a thunk a lower rank server would have queues beyond the weekend???). As long as Anet continues to make it cheap to xfer, the wild population fluctuations will likely continue.

When the reduction in transfer prices first started GOM was already a very high population server that was rank 22-23. So that wouldn’t be possible unless people really wanted to spend 1800 gems to go to a losing server.

Thought there was a fight night today, but I went to all 3 bls and found no one.

So where and when is the fight night?

Today one of those hackers from HP was chasing me around for like 20mins and wouldn’t leave me alone. This was really annoying. Just wondering how long it would take for them to get banned.

Those HP warriors are still speed hacking. If anyone sees them please report because this is just ruining WvW.

To those stun+hb spamming warriors from the [HP] guild in FC. That combo is broken enough. Do you guys really need to speed hack also?

I was wandering around and I see this. Not sure if this is considered an exploit or not, but I’m pretty sure its botting. The FC bots are killing the GOM bots while one bot keeps ressing.

I was talking about the fight night at gom bl southern windmill. No AR showed up. There was like 3-5 peopel from GOM. Only FC had a lot of people from the YARR guild, but they left shortly after since it was pretty dead.

As a D/P thief I also do not think it requires a nerf. Black powder heartseeker combo is very initiative heavy so a thief that plays this would not be able to continuously shoot out multiple black powders. To slightly counter this all you need to do is to stand inside the blackpowder field so that the thief does not get in multiple heartseekers inside one blackpowder field to regen initiative. If you do this they will either heart seeker you and then get the reveal debuff or run out of initiative.

Oh thanks for the info. I had heard that you could ask a friend from the order that you wanted to do this for you. I didn’t want to waste the time to make another character and I have the gold, but I guess I have no choice

I want the medium gloves from the order of whisper, but I joined the vigil. I’m looking for a kind person who is in the order of whispers to do that transmuting thing for me. I will pay you the gold that is necessary.
