Guild Wars 2

Here’s a suggestion. Record your session in preparation of submitting it to a bug report and the game behaves itself. I followed the instructions here:

Started recording the game and behold the flashes start working properly. I can tell you that they were not working. I went through every trouble shooting step I could think of. The recording of the video must have downgraded the video performance enough for me to see the flashes for the storyline.

I’m trying to perform the level 4 storyline Golem Positioning System with Hronk supposedly firing the bursts of light. The bursts of light are not happening. I interact with Hronk to start the sequence. I run far enough away so I can see the three consoles. I have been struggling with this for hours. I’ve changed my video settings on my computer. I’ve logged out and back into the game. I’ve seen others reporting this same issue with the engineering/support team suggesting that it works fine on their systems. If someone wants to show me how to record a video I will do it and submit it.

So I’m stuck in this bug as well. I see one console flash. No more. I go over and press the console and I’m told that I am wrong. What am I missing here? I can’t go any further. I have a good graphics card so I don’t think it is settings. The YouTube videos show the Beta version of the game but it looks like the consoles are functioning correctly in it. I am not seeing any flashes at all even when I talk to the NPC to get it started. Or I might see one flash and that’s it. Not like the video but again the video appears to be the beta version of the game.
