Guild Wars 2

Since the April Fools update on March 31st, I’ve experienced an issue with the video freezing during play. It’s happened at different times, sometimes I’m mid-combat, other times I’m applying dyes, other times I’m in the wardrobe picking a new look for my armor. It happens several times a day, sometimes it’s accompanied by the “report this to anet” window, sometimes it isn’t. It doesn’t result in a reboot, but I have to restart the program. It’s very disruptive if I’m in the middle of an event.

I checked event logs, and all it says is that the program stopped responding. No details to help.

I updated to the latest nvidia drivers around the same time and thought maybe the drivers were bad, so I rolled back to an earlier version. I don’t think it’s my video drivers.

I’m not overclocking anything.

What other information can I provide the forums to best help me?

I just hit 80 last night on my first character, a female norn warrior. As usual, I’m already thinking of my next character, but I’m pretty indecisive about my characters in Rpgs. Always have been.

It goes without saying that I will first spend some time getting acquainted with my level capped warrior, but Guild Wars 2 provides one of the better leveling experiences so I’m anxious to get to my second character. So I ask…

What race, class, and gender should my next character be? And why?

A little more info if it helps:
I have a charr guardian, human thief with noble background (politicians are thieves, lol?), sylvari ranger and asura engineer. all are at 15ish, so im not opposed to re rolling them to change race. As a benefit, ive had them all long enough that I have a stack of lvl 20 booster scrolls in my bank.
I have played around with all of the classes a little by making lvl 1 and going to pvp lobby to try out skills. I didn’t jive with any of the scholars, but I would like to give elementalist another shot at some point in the future.

I’ve looked at quite a few Warrior leveling builds lately. Most of them are “Use whatever works,” which I totally agree with. The few that I do see explicitly laid out, though, never include Warrior’s Sprint in the Tactics line. Is there a reason that Warriors wouldn’t want to run 25% faster all the time while leveling?
