Has there been an explanation offered for why old BLTC buy orders, placed back before there was a minimum sell price, and which are below the minimum sell price, have not been automatically canceled? When I open my sell panel I want to see which items actually have demand, rather than dead buy orders that can never be fulfilled.
Since my 1920×1080 machine is on another continent, I borrowed my buddy’s 1920×1200 screen to test. On “Small” interface size there, everything fits with a bit of wiggle room; with “Normal”, just barely.
The screenshot in the top post from my small screen is using “Small” interface.
I play on a laptop at 1366×768 resolution, and the mouse-over tooltips for Glyph of (Lesser) Elementals (when equipped) is too tall to fit the screen. A suggestion may be to only display the one for your current attunement, or have it detect when the screen isn’t tall enough to display it in one column and split it into two?
(I used to play with 1920 × 1080 on my older desktop, but I actually found it more disorienting than on this smaller screen. I guess I’m one of those people who don’t like a graphically “immersive” experience.)
(I also had to put it into windowed mode in order to make a screenshot of the mouse-over. Can we please have mouse-overs appear on screenshots like they did in GW1???)
I just rolled an elementalist to try to get the attunement swap one – I had to relog and then wait a while for it to pop, but I was already using F2 so I swapped to F1, waited for the cooldown, then back to F2, and then clicked away the hint — but it didn’t check it off on my list. Do I have to roll another one just to get this to work <.<
I understand having chests partways up the puzzle to reward people who get, well, part of the way, but I tried for a couple of hours and never got even to the first one. Only just past the first pause point. I’m terrible at jumping puzzles (ask my guild how long it took for me to do Morgan’s Spiral) and need time to turn, aim, and mash my unsensitive space bar (which is fine for typing but for jumping the inconsistent latency gets me bad).
I agree that seasonal holiday content should be manageable for everybody. It’s what really brings the casual players in to play and after all the GW1 Halloween quests were all pretty manageable (except for the Underworld one but I’ve never finished UW in regular time anyway and the reward was just ToT bags so it didn’t bother me). So sure, have hard stuff. But I wouldn’t mind if there was a way to go at your own pace to learn it first (like Griffinrook chest).
Sure, some of you found it fun and super easy, but that doesn’t give you the right to belittle those who had a miserable time attempting it (whether they cared all that much about finishing it or not).
I would like to be able to see a list of maybe the 5 most recent IPs that have logged into my account on my Security page, not just those that are currently logged on. (Gmail shows me the last 10).
Along the same lines I would like to see which IPs I have allowed access to, with the option to revoke said access. For example, if I’ve been playing on a friend’s computer a lot but then we have a fight and never want to talk to each other again, I’d want to revoke access to his IP so he can’t do anything malicious to my account.
Lastly, I have a verified email account, and while I did get an email and had to click on the link to approve playing on my home computer, I did NOT get an email to click on when I logged in on my friend’s computer. But I can play on his computer, no problem. Which means that email verification did not work in this case. I copied my gw2.dat over to his computer instead of downloading it from scratch, though, and if this means that verification info is tagged in the .dat (like I believe interface settings were in GW1), that’s rather ineffectual too.
The tracks posted on Youtube are a prerelease game rip. I spent a few hours sorting out which of those tracks are actually on the retail soundtrack, and here’s what I found.
I got really tired of trying to figure out the quieter tracks, so there are some missing. They could be (as is often with movie soundtracks as well) medleys or combinations of some of the shorter tracks.
Edit: My list is for the rip found on a certain “bay” of “corsairs” (if you know what I mean) so it’s only got 92 tracks instead of 98
