Be careful who you listen to regarding difficulty

You can have difficult dungeon without it taking four hours to complete.

Every single PUG I’ve been in takes about 3-4hrs. Thats not EASY in any way. If my group finished the dungeons within 2hrs or less. Then I would say its easy. The only reason people would consider this easy is because of the way anet makes it hard. Such as adding tons of health to a enemy. Hey we made it hard! Then they added tons of enemies that get boring after trying to get tokens that most people pass up on their third runs.

Thats why I don’t get the DR system at all. What is it like 300 tokens for a chest piece in Arah? You put items in the game that require you to farm. Yet you don’t want people to farm?

People shouldn’t defend this stuff. We should all want to have a fun experience in the game. No matter the type of game play you like to play.

Being efficient in dungeons means less reward?

I just wanted to add a few words.

This system punishes everyone as already stated in this thread by countless people. I hope anet really rethinks what they are doing. I’ve been running dungeons for the past few days with unorganized/casual groups. Specifically Arah, this is extremely hard. It becomes more like a chore. So to all the people who can effectively clear dungeons in shorter periods of time deserve all the tokens they get.

Does farming anything considered an exploit? Does anet just decide what an exploit is?

Rarely do we ever change the minds of corporations.

If GW2 gets onto GNU/linux without using wine I will switch to GNU/linux 24/7. Valve is doing it. Why aren’t you?

Also I wanted to point out the a MAC is a PC.

Aye, back in the days I used to be on Linux 24/7 and played Return to Castle Wolfenstein (native), Half-Life (and mods), Quake * (native) and a few others. Also played City of Heroes and a few Call of Duty games under Wine with very minor issues. Things are slowly getting better but new release games will usually have issues.

And yeah a Mac these days is basically an Intel system, I miss the old PowerPC days but it’s obviously cheaper for Apple to distribute Macs with PC components.

A mac is a PC.

Essentially every component inside a mac is a PC component. It’s been that way FOREVER.
