I have been using Proof of Heroics on that particular character since he has a lot of catching up to do. I just found out (after paying attention to what I’m doing) when consumed for a Heroic Challenge it actually makes that character earn a Heroic Challenge from the map.

I rerolled a new character. Working on a partial map completion. Just Waypoints and Hero Challenges for now. Finding Hero Challenges in maps I enter for the first time already completed.
Tried a Google search on this to see what I may have missed on bug reports or if it’s something I did.
Anyone else run into this problem?

Personally I think reduced falling damage should be part of a mastery and that all the falling damage traits should be removed and replaced.

You know I was going to be done here as I had done enough expressing my view but that is really a great idea. Let me piggyback that with adding run speed in the same mastery.

That’s a good and interesting suggestion. May be with Terror and Superior Rune of the Necromancer I could go to EotM and be “that Necro”. Looking at you, Choxie.

I don’t know if it’s all personal taste or spotting balance but it just always felt misplaced. May be minor to every thing else that’s being discussed but at least I piped up.

We’ll see what comes 10/23.

First I do want to say visually it looks beautiful. I loved the animations. The scythe on a human looked wickedly Necro. The new specialization has possibly committed me to a Necro main.

Many players have already presented in good detail the tweaks needed. There is just one more thing that always kind of bothered me. Terrifying Descent in the Curses trait line.

When I PvE Curses can be a useful trait line. When I WvW I don’t find Curses as useful on a Necro as the more bunker like builds. I tend to join frontline with my wells and sometimes it means jumping from a ledge to a choke point or from a tower wall to enemy PvD’ers. No actions while falling and sometimes your character has to pick themselves up so that trait is sorely missed when I WvW.

That’s my .02 copper. Keep up the Necro discussion. I’d like to see this profession go full awesome.

update: I was reading map chat while playing earlier. It appears not every one is affected by this.

I just did the same craft as you and did not even get one level. Unless I keep over looking it I did not see anything in latest release notes of this change.

Before I do any more crafting I want to see if any one has more information on this.

I do plan on doing a map completion with that character but I like bursting up a few levels too.
