ok i will thank you for all the help it was greatly appreciated

i tried it still the same problem

only on the forums

the game keeps on telling me it encountered an error whenever i log in using my email and password (the same one i use to log into the forum)

thats the problem after my email did not work i tried using my display name thinking they changed it

i tried my email over and over i even tried my display name none of them worked

the email works for the forums and the website but not the game

i recently took a long break from guild wars 2 and i decided to log into see whats new

downloaded the update tried my old password and it says

guild wars 2 has encountered an error

The account name and password you entered is invalid. Please check your information and try again.

recover account

and a big rectangular ok button

i tried using the same information on the web site and it worked just fine first try

so i try to change my password it tells me when my password isnt good enough but when i have one that is good enough nothing happens my password didnt change cause i can still use my old password

so i looked around the forums for a fix for my problem found one that worked for a person with exactly the same problem tried the fix still nothing

any help would be greatly appreciated
