that is why I said contacting the user first. So far of all games or systems I had problem with ANet’s support is worst. Worse than steam. My suggestion wasn’t to have mercy or stuff like that but have a better support system. Waiting 24h for the first reply, etc etc. While Kinguin is called a greymarket the store does function legally and wasn’t banned in any country whatsoever. And as rich said, okay a gold seller hacked your account etc and your account gets banned. That stuff happened to me in WoW. Blizzard banned the account but immediately contacted me by email, was announced and asked to contact them over live support(which seems to be too futuristic for ANet). I had to have a problem like this to notice that the support system is bad. even tho I had a reply from them it asked me for data if I purchased the game from them to have proof. Which was pretty Irrelevant since the base game was a hard-copy bought from the supermarket.
Hi everyone,
Reason:
I decided to create this topic to express my personal opinion on the system after I just got into this "nice" problem. I bought my HoT key from kinguin(I know I know, grey market, shady stuff etc) and yesterday while playing I was suddenly hit by suspension(ban)hammer and DC'ed. no reason given just an error while trying to log back in. I sent a support ticket asking what I did wrong(a ticket to which there still is no response). Alas when I checked my account on gw2.com a hour later I noticed I don't have HoT anymore and that I am able to buy it. Then I understood. I contacted Kinguin and they offered a refund, problem solved there in less than 1 hour. Meanwhile my support ticket for gw2 is still not replied to,waiting, banned(how the hell should I know the key was problematic?).
My proposed solution:
Don’t instaban players(some who might not even realise this) but use GM’s to contact them explaining the situation, helping them resolve the problem. The key can be deactivated from the account but at least innocent ones will be spared the ban hammer and forced to wait for a long while. Alas if the player doesn’t give a proper reason/proof to the GM that he didn’t obtain the key fraudulently then banhim. And yes stores like kinguin might have problematic keys with their sellers but they are still in the legal market. There is no authorized store in my country to buy gw2 but they are legal local stores(some even country-wide markets with many more points) and they do sell the game. What if that key is also “fraudulent?” How can the consumer know?I honestly propose a revised support system, also live support like blizzard have(kitten their support team is quite nice).
What do the rest of you think of this?
I understood there were mursaat….the buildings appearing(mursaat lived deep in the maguuma’s(gw1 story) but the crystals that were breaking seemed more of Kralkatorrik…..like those 2 dragons were either fighting and Mordremoth shall win or they band forces and Kralkatorrik becomes more like Mordremoth
