Windows 10 was supposed to be the gaming friendly OS, but there are so many wierd things that use your internet connection with out permission. Worst offender is the new Windows Update. It defaults to Peer-to-Peer updating, which means you are always uploading for someone else.

I have terrible Latency in GW2 since HOT released. I was originally fine. Averaged 90 in GW2. 50+ in any Blizzard game. Most other games are the same for me. Since HOT I have an average of 300 ping in Guild Wars 2. It’s unplayable in PVP, which is all I play GW2 for. I have done tracert to the GW2 servers, and its always the Telia(sp?) servers. I have killed all other connections to my wifi, all apps or anything that would be using internet on my computer. I reformated my entire PC, killed all applications that use my connection. Monitored my network traffic from my router, and still have terrible latency in GW2. Sadly, think I am gonna have to stop playing because there is no cure I can implement on my side.

I have been recently too. I am able to have about 70-90 ping to all other games I play. Even in GW2 in the past. But since HOT I have been averageing 300 ping. I live in Seattle WA, and have decent internet. GW2 is the only game that has this problem for me.
