It looks like the error code has changed from 42:1020:9001:4105 to 42:1020:9001:4103
Yeah, I’m getting an error code with “4103” as the last 4 digits too. I also got 34:4:5:920 earlier.
Update: and now I’m getting 7:1000:7006:375 as well.

Wow, and i thought it was just me – a firewall issue or something. look’s like something’s up.

At the moment, I’m going through this issue as well – always being discriminated for being a LVL 38 Mesmer. I’ve done AC a couple of times before, and I always managed to carry my own weight around. However, just finding a group that won’t kick me out is a little challenging.
The thing is, I’m a new player. I read forums and most of what is said is “switch to your lvl 80” and all that, but unfortunately, I don’t have a lvl 80. This LVL 38 Mesmer is my first character, and it can get tricky trying to convince a group you’ll be alright. But what the hey, it’s not all that bad – I’m enjoying it, and I do end up finding a group that reluctantly allows me in. I just wish there was more support for new players. Ah well, you can’t have your cake and eat it.
Housing! Seriously. I want a house. I want to hang trophies of things I’ve killed and plaques of achievements. Patterns for my tailor to make throw rugs and my huntsman to make….stuff. My cook to make food stuff! Roast longhorn on a platter in the middle of the dining room table.
Fishing! I’ll pay gems for better fishing poles, bait. Obviously fishing has to be in the game first.
Account wide dye. I’d pay gems to make any dyes I learn account wide for present and future characters.
Gathering boost. Unless it’s there and I’ve missed it, I’d buy gathering boosts that increase my gathers by 2x or more. But every time, not just a .01% chance.
A WP something that eliminates WP costs for 24 hours or something.
I buy karma boosts. I’ve bought a few crafting boosts and some BL chest keys before.
Mostly though, I buy gems to convert to gold. Yes, I do.
Hell yeah, I want a house. I want real estate. My character needs a hideaway and a sabbatical now and then. Stop the killing, and focus on some cooking for a few days.
I suppose it’s not for everyone. To be honest, though, the personal story was an unexpected surprise for me. I bought the game expecting an MMORPG experience (which the game delivered) and got that plus a pretty decent single-player experience that I’m actually enjoying at the moment. I love how it ties in to your overall PvE experience. I love the voice acting. I love the occasional silliness, and the hit or miss humor.
I took the option of seeing it through and I find it quite rewarding. There is, of course, the other option which is to ignore it, and I suppose those who don’t enjoy the personal story have a world of other things to experience anyway.
I fulfill my dodge requirements by fighting Barracudas underwater in Queensdale (I’m new). I’m not interested in knowing why – I’m sure there’s a reason.
It’s not so bad – I’m LVL 11 and I just crafted me a sweet Vital Crude Staff – much better than what I was using (a lowe level Power Staff that I looted). Not so bad.
