Profession: Warrior, Dornhilde travels the Shiverpeaks aiding those that do not have the strength or skill to defend themselves. all she will ask in return is a bit of coin and perhaps a place to lodge for the night. she has begun to feel as though there are none left in the Shiverpeaks to equal her skill and harbors aspirations to travel Tyria and test herself against the unknown.

Appearance: She is tall for a Norn maiden and her skin is fair as the snow on the mountain, but her flowing red hair is nearly as famous as her skill with a blade. on the coldest nights the Sons of Svanir huddle around their campfires and whisper of the Red Lady, tall and terrible, pale of countenance with hair like a river of blood and fire.

History/Youth
Dornhilde was the daughter of simple farm folk. her childhood was quiet and simple enough until one night a travelling sellsword came hobbling up to their home badly wounded, her family treated his wounds and welcomed him into their home until he was well enough to recover. while he was bedridden, Dornehilde would sneak into his room and listen to the tales of his adventures, rescuing maidens, fighting bandits, exploring ancient tombs. these tales sparked a wanderlust in her heart that only the long winding road would abate. when he was well enough, the sellsword taught her the finer points of combat and how to use various types of weapons.

Early Life: Dornehilde’s family farm was attacked by the Sons of Svanir one cold and wintery night, after grabbing her grandfather’s warhorn and blowing it with all her might, she fought them off until help arrived, but her parents had been killed in the struggle. Deciding there was nothing left for her there any longer, she left to seek her fortune outside the secluded valley in which she had been raised.

Current Status
Dornhilde is never in any one place long but she has never wandered more than a few days journey from Hoelbrek

Dornhilde is quick to laugh and tell a joke but facing battle she is truly in her element, not going into a blind rage but harnessing her furry.

Dornehild is known to collect trophies from every enemy she defeats, sometimes selling them for coin, sometimes keeping them for herself if the foe was particularly fierce. she also refrains from wearing a helmet into battle, preferring to let her fiery hair fly freely.
