4th time around, no downed, no carts, and it still did not trigger after the first wave, so yep, got to be that you have to get downed… That’s a pretty annoying deal if you ask me…

I think it might be the same case for me, sheer coincidence on the first run, but I messed up and reset the instance (used wp) now both times that I’ve used arrow carts, it does not progress past the first wave….

Yea, this definitely seems weird, thankfully it looks like they reset her account, I’ll find out for sure when she wakes up in the morning, however, like I said our paypal is linked to my email. I just saw the email for her payment to NC interactive from paypal, yet I don’t see one for either of our previous purchases, but I see every email for the payments I’ve made to them for gems.

Tell me about it, and I get the feeling there is nothing we are gonna be able to do about it, that the account is pretty much lost forever, and that ANet won’t (be able to) help us at all.

No, I’ve had well over 1k the past month. =\ I am seriously at a loss, she was playing, multiple characters, with me, we grouped all the time, now all of a sudden, it’s almost as if there is not a trace of the account anywhere. There is no way a hacker could’ve had that much access and only used it to delete one measly transaction and take over a simple game account. Also, the paypal is actually through my email, I do not have an email of the purchase though since it seems like the email for purchasing the game differs slightly from the emails for purchasing gems from them, as I can’t find an email of the transaction from paypal for purchasing the game for myself, only an email from ANet thanking for the purchase, with my serial code in it.

I am so completely stumped how this has happened, we’ve already just had to purchase her a whole new account, since it’s been probably 48 hrs or more now and this is still going on, and with their tightened security, I don’t know if they’re even gonna give her the account back without that serial code.

Yea, checked. I even checked the bank and paypal, I can’t even find a record of the purchase, even though she has been playing with me.

Alright, so both me and my wife have been playing the game together, after release. However, about 2 days ago her account got locked, she never got an email about authorizing logon attempts from another location. Now they are trying to confirm her identity and are asking for her serial code, which has somehow disappeared from her email, and I can’t find any record of her purchase of the game…

I’d cry hacker, but there’s no way a hacker could manage to hack into guild wars, take over the account without any suspicious email, and get into paypal and my bank account and make the entire transaction of her purchase completely disappear. Oh, and I can still see my purchase along with my serial code in my email, I am completely baffled and she is outright frustrated.

Anyone have ideas?
