Although I agree entirely that the botting problem is rediculous there have been signs of some strategies implemented by Areanet. They just aren’t terribly effective. The fact of the matter is Magic find is such a huge stat to gold farming that you either roll MF gear or go home. Cursed shore is so easy to farm that anything introduced in this zone has deflated significantly in price, these same goods are the major driving force of the market towards creating legendary precursors. A sinple way to reduce gold farmers bottom line would be to simply make precursors BoA this would retain much of the market drive for rare/exotic gear which is already sought after for ectoplasm but would eliminate the botters ability to inflate the price of precursors and dominate the market. Yes I know that means more players relying on the RNG gods for precursors instead of goldseller gold for cash.
As for gems they spiked due to the event and have stabilized, expect this to be the norm.

For those saying Asuran weapons look childsize might I remind you that Asuras are in fact smaller than the human children running around in this game. To further counter this argument I’d like to provide 3 examples from my playing Gw2 yesterday alone.

1. while running CoF with the Asuran cultural T3 greatsword, I recieved compliments from my group mates. They wanted to know where I got it and how to get there own. Too bad Asura only.
2. same group and further complements when I could poison last boss in path 1 (it’s an Asuran specific utility skill) I also used my mobile golem suit for kicks, u can’t get a bigger weapon than that.
3. as for the armor i was running around in LA with full CoF gear but no legs equipped, just wanted to see how long it took for someone to say something about my blue boxers. Mind you I was using emotes, chasing people around and /say ing funny things. But people notices and were just as entertained a I was.

That being said if I ever do get a legendary I’m likely to trade it to a newly made Norn character just before it binds so I can show it off easier.

In short for me kitten’s sake plz make Asuran weapons bigger (or make legendaries BoA instead of BoE)
