Rich ppl should not laugh at poor ppl. really. @wcnighthawk
Where do you get that I’m laughing at poor people? I’m laughing at the self entitled people.
I recall someone posting that they contacted support to get a refund in order to re-buy the game and get the bonus items.
Which makes perfect sense.
You’d think someone at Arena Net would have figured that out, or at least learned from the mistakes of others (cough*blizzard*cough), who managed to alienate a significant chunk of their playerbase by systematically giving better deals to new players (or players who had previously cancelled their subscription) than to players who had faithfully spent a ton of money on the game.
The deluxe edition is currently cheaper than the standard edition was two weeks ago. And yet, people who bought the standard edition (and possibly spent a lot of money on gem store items since) get nothing to make up for that – not to mention people who bought the deluxe edition at full price just before the promotion.
Well, now they get an ugly hat. I’m sure that makes them feel a lot more valued.
So whenever a better phone deal comes out, you refund your phone? Whenever a better deal on the same car you got comes out, you refund your car? What about computer parts. Hell, you refund your girlfriend whenever a better looking girl comes around? Probably the same people that complain about 15 measly bucks a month for a sub but have no problems spending 50 in a month buying gems. You people make me laugh.
Screw the little details. Let’s talk more of this 100% free stuff OP mentioned… :p

I like this jumping puzzle. I like how it gives you random paths to go unlike the Clock Tower. I think it’s waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier than the Clock Tower though.
My only real complaint about this jumping puzzle is……….no epic music like in the Clock Tower! ANET, add some epic music to this jp please.
Just a wild guess, but I think it has something to do with motivating you to get the new gear. That would be my hypothesis. I mean, if everything was the same why would you bother?
I made this guy and beat the Clock Tower on the first run through after a guildie told me it was impossible to do with an Asura (yes, I have beaten the tower 5x before). Cheers!!
Here’s a few I took. The 3rd pic is my Asura, at the top of the Clock Tower. To prove a point.
Beat it with all 4 of my characters. Finally.
This has probably been stated before, but for me, when Guild Wars 1 launched I got it and played it around 2-3 months, then never touched it ever again. I was skeptical about Guild Wars 2, but I’m all about chances and I’ve played Guild Wars 2 since launch (read no reviews, did not follow the game at all, just blindly pre-ordered game at last moment) and I’m still having a blast today. Kinda says something about the 2 games, no?
The way HS works, the less health your opponent has, the more damage it will do. At 50% health, it get’s a little damage boost and at 25% health, it get’s an even bigger damage boost. HS is great to use as a finishing move or if you need to catch up to somebody real fast but spamming HS on a person with full health is just a waste of initiative.
