How is the end game? That’s what matters, not what the crybabies are saying.

I remember the reason I gave up on WoW’s balance wasn’t because of the crybabies, there were ALWAYS crybabies. I gave up in season 4 when 48 out of the top 50 2v2 teams, had a resto druid on them. It was obviously imbalanced for the players that actually knew how the game worked, and how to play their classes and work together. Is the end game like that? All the same combos? If so, the balance is broken.

I’ve made dozens of 3D games, some were just personal projects that only a few close friends ever got to play, and some that were released to the public. They weren’t made with the same engine either. It’s almost impossible to imagine, as a programmer, a scenario where it’s difficult to add an option to camera follow another player. It’s just a duplication process, it’s already all there! I can understand not implementing a system that calculates what part of the fight the camera should look at for that specific moment, but to just follow other players is easy. There’s no excuse for not having this in the game. Almost every single FPS has the option to follow other players while you’re dead.

I don’t want this rushed, I just want it. If it comes two years from now, then in two years I’ll play again. Until then, I’m going to do something else, that’s all.

I read it in an interview of one of the dev’s. They said it would be out before the end of the year.

And no one is making demands lol. I’m saying I don’t want to play the game without spectator mode. And considering I’m a game developer myself, and know how insanely easy it would be to implement just an option to camera follow another player, it’s hilarious that this game hasn’t at least implemented that yet.

And spectator mode is important to me because I play competitively. I played in the tournaments in WoW arena and enjoyed being able to watch my guild mates fight in real time while playing on LAN or via streaming. It was a great way to enjoy the games, learn from the matches, or it’s great to just eat my dinner while watching a fight. Spectator mode would become my new screen saver. Without it, this is just another battleground game, which don’t get me wrong is fun, but without that competitive aspect of it doesn’t interest me at all.

Are you serious? It got pushed back an entire year? Wow, goodbye lol.

I have absolutely no interest in playing the game until spectator mode is added. I read it was going to be released before the end of the year. Well there’s a week left in the year, and I decided to come back and see if there really was a game company out there that keeps its word. So, is spectator mode in? I don’t even want to bother patching unless it is. And if it isn’t, does anyone have even a clue when it will be out? Thanks!
