Just sharing a screenshot of what it was like yesterday night on Yak’s Bend Borderlands (I’m from YB.)
GoM controlled nothing on the map. YB held only Godsword supply camp (North camp) fairly reliably. After the keep fell, we basically alternated between capturing Longview and Cliffside towers for a good little bit while the golem parade was in trasit between the two. I don’t know the exact golem count, but there were at least 10 at this point.
Honestly, I thought this was one of the most glorious things I had seen in game yet. My few guildmates and I had just finished commending our defensive effort for holding the zerg off at Cliffside after the gate was broken… and then we saw the golems. I can’t, with any honesty, say I wouldn’t do the same thing were I in that situation. But admittedly, it does kind of break the spirit a little bit.
That all being said, I had a blast, mostly from the small victories along the way. You win some, you lose some. But I look forward to the next match. >.>;
