This bug also can happen with the Thief’s Shadowstep skill. I think this happens if and only if your character doesn’t have their weapon drawn when you use the skill. Since the character is activating a skill they draw their weapon immediately afterwards, but they end up locked in the “ready for combat” pose rather than continuing to run. You can even tap one of the strafe keys to get out of the gliding animation.
I’d guess this is some sort of problem with the order in which the character’s pose is changed. A reasonable and possibly easier fix would be to set the character’s weapon to be completely drawn at the start of a teleport skill’s activation instead of trying to animate it, or making teleport skills not cause the character to draw their weapon.
