Same problem, never had before today.
lvl 69 and crashed while porting to Straits of Devastation.
I can log in after a few minutes and even able to play in the zone i was (Maelstrom) but as soon i try to take a World Travel, i crash again. If i die and try to respawn on the same zone, crash aswell.
Switzerland and aswell Swisscom, based at Geneva.
Plz fix it
Yup i agree pls ANet fix Swisscom :p
Hello all,
I just wanted everyone to be aware that we are currently looking into this issue. I will provide additional information if it becomes available.
Thx Matt
Ok so if it is a Swisscom issue i’ll reload my Skyrim saves for the next two weeks ^^
I can very rarely log in with my main on the overflow server but as soon as i accept to switch to home i have the same error back again…
Don’t get anything written in German even using Google translate :s
Even identification server is difficult to reach. Definitely a network issue as ID servers are in the US if i remember.
I can (probably) confirm that this is a swisscom issue: Playing at home (via swisscom) produces said error. Connecting through my work-vpn (which isn’t using swisscom) works…
Maybe not directly swisscom because some french folks said they have the same problem, but at least some node on the way toward NC servers.
Found this on Swisscom site.
Was 4 days ago :s
Same problem here :>
Also from Switzerland and with Swisscom…-.-’Why we dont talk in German? Is it not allowed here? because is think the problem exists 99% in Switzland >:
Maybe because it is an english forum and also because there are 4 official languages in Switzerland :p
I’m sure I remember having the same thing with GW1 and it was Anet that fixed it. I had pretty much the same exact tracert result too.
Hope you’re right But it seems to be very localized.

This i79tix something remembers me something :s It could take some time guys :SYou already had a similar experience with swisscom?
Right now I only have this GW2 problem, my SwisscomTV and any other via-internet application works just fine.
Yes i had some very similar issues in the past. It took Swisscom more than two weeks to fix… Hope it’ll be quicker. But i don’t know maybe it is not exactly the same problem this time. I’m not a network expert :S

Using open DNS numbers (these ones: 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220) didn’t work for me even after doing ipconfig /flushdns, the game client wouldn’t connect -at all-.
Same here.
Strange that only Swiss/Swisscom users are posting on this thread. I’m pretty sure Swisscom is doing …. again.
Using open dns fixed it for me. Living in Switzerland
I’ve already had some issues with swisscom DNS. It’s just crap. I’ll give it a try.
What do you mean?
Did you change zones, enter an instance – anything that gives you another load screen. Coz I -could- play my alt until that happened now I can’t play that. Can’t create a new toon either.
Not sure but it seems easier to log to overflow server. Home server seems to be down for me (i’m on Vizunah Square)
Problem back again. In fact i logged in to overflow server but when i switch to home i’ve been disconnected with error 5:11:3:157:101 :s
I’ll try tomorrow.
People said another one is to transfer account to US and transfer back. Dunno.
What do you mean?
Found a workaround ^^ I’ve created a new charcater, logged in with it. Delogged and relogged with my main. Try it guys
ID server seems to be in a bad shape too. Sometimes it works and sometime not.
Networking seems to be weird tonight :s
Swisscom too.
I guess i could log my alt in because i logged to the overflow server. Home server seems to have some problems :s
Same issue here. In Switzerland too… Network problem? :s
