Guild Wars 2

So I have about 30 yellow items in my inventory waiting to be salvaged or sold on TP. But I don’t know which option to choose.

Should I salvage them for ecto’s? With Mystic Salvage or Black Lion Salvage?
Some guy said you only salvage exotics with the Black Lion Salvage because that gives you more ecto’s.

I also only salvage my blues, for Essence of Luck. The greens go straight to vendor (too much time to sell them all seperately on TP and almost the same price)

All I want is alot of money out of these items that I don’t need so if anyone has some tips for me about what to salvage and what not (and what to sell), please let me know!

With the Glory/Rank reward update, I’m wondering if you earn more Glory/Rank now?
You get more if you win the game and you get less when you lose.
I wrote some progressing down:

First match: 1221 glory/ 53877 rank/points towards my Avenger title (win)
Second match: 1436 / 54097 (lose)
Third match: 1576 / 54257 (lose)
Fourth match: 1691 / 54332 (lose)
Fifth match: 1896 / 54427 (win)
Sixth match: 2026 / 54692 (lose)

After 6 matches, I gained 805 glory (without boosters) and gained 815 rank points.
Is this more or less than before the update? I know I’ve only won 2 games out of 6 but I’m just wondering.

I’m pretty new to the whole rank/glory system but have been really enjoying PvP. I am rank 21 and looking at this update made me want to learn more about the reward system.

I won a few games today and noticed I gained 250-300 rank points. Is that more or less than before the patch or what?

We have had 1000’s of weekend bonuses in GW1, like double Faction points or GvG points or get double points when opening a chest…

This would be really cool in GW2. Let’s say, a weekend with double glory or rank gain in Pvp.
Or another weekend with double WXP gain…

This would encourage people to play more PvP, WvW or PvE.
