Didn’t mention, i’m running a Phenom II x4 955. It doesn’t SEEM to be a processor bottleneck issue, as reducing graphical configurations in-game does yield an increase in FPS in areas regardless of player activity, it seems. I suppose the increase in visual quality could strain the CPU more, as there’s technically more to render?

Not trying to hijack the thread, but just wanted to throw this out there. I recently removed a HD4870 and installed a HD7850 with no noticeable increase in performance (across multiple games), and just today tried out a HD7770, again with no real increase in performance.

I’m wondering if this “core issue” might be applicable to this machine?

Theres ALOT of another threads about that same suggestion, someone from arena net already said something like: if there’s demand enough they would look into that.
So I hope we get it soon.

I’m guessing there are numerous other things that other players might find preferable to the ability to re-adjust physical appearance, but personally, I could see this being used with some degree of frequency, if added.

Really just trying to get a feel for how desirable the above might be to others.

Just a simple “Yes” or “No” would be fine. Throw in a monetary price you consider to be fair, if you like.

I don’t know about anyone else, but i personally spend a large amount of time and effort on the character creation screen.

I often will get up, do something else, and then view the character i’ve been tweaking with more “fresh” eyes, to see if there are any aspects of the forest that i had not seen while viewing the trees…

However, i was just booted to the character select screen (again), almost right before the character was ready.

It’s a bit of an annoyance that there seems to be a timer on character creation, but if someone could just post the duration that elapses before the progress you’ve spent nearly an hour on is suddenly rendered negligible and wasted, then i could perhaps better accommodate and adapt the approach.

TL;DR – What duration elapses before you’re booted to the main menu from Character Creation? Is this an issue anyone else has experienced?
