You could also look at getting a pretty paid visa. They can be reloaded with cash and then used online to by gems
I guess that could be done, but sometimes prepaid visa cards or prepaid debit cards have a nasty habit of not working in some places. Or maybe I just have really bad luck.
(i.e one of my prepaid visa cards not being accepted as a payment on a clothing website)

I live in upstate NY. I even checked Gamestop, Best Buy, etc. I can’t seem to find them outside of Amazon which is a little lame because even if I were to buy them I would have to wait 2-5 weeks for it to arrive ANYWAY. Which is a little lame if I wanted short notice gems for a sale.
Especially with the living story giving us two new areas (Silverwastes and Drytop) and the new Luminescence armor set, people are primarily set on that. The map is currently only really used for the Karka Queen world boss, other than that – nobody is really interested in it. Many people don’t see the point of doing things there because they don’t really get much out of it. Many players like the play style of the Silverwastes it’s definitely different than your everyday grind.
I know, I know that some retailers carry the official Guild Wars 2 Gem cards. But I can’t seem to find them anywhere I live (New York). I know I could get them online such as newegg and amazon, but if I had the means of getting those cards off the internet, I would do it directly with my credit card or debit card.
I would rather pay it in cash, and since Ultimate Game Card has recently gone out of business, I was wondering if there was another general prepaid game card. I found Karma coin. They supposively donate 1% of all their proceeds to a certain charity of the month and I think that would be a great thing for Guild Wars 2 to get around definitely.

I think they will eventually make a Mawdrey/Star of Gratitude type item that will consume dragonite ore (I hope) in the future. I don’t see why not – I definitely think it should be something crafted and not just given to someone via meta-achievement like Star of Gratitude. That way it gives me something to do at least…
I think it’s an interesting idea, but I don’t know how many players would pay in extra transmutation stones (especially once they realise it would be cheaper to set all the skins they want then transmute it all at once) than using a presaved outfit.
That being said, I thought this thread would be more about contest to make a new Gem store outfit which would be cool. Maybe they could implement skins that would only be available through the “Custom Outfit” system? Because you can transmutate more than one item at once – so all it would be doing is saving the extra step of picking out the skin.
I would rather an outfit than just a plain helm skin. Especially since I love using outfits more than skins. Although I do wish that I could use the glasses skin with some of my outfits.
I’m sure the developers are working as hard as they possibly can to fix it. Fixing bugs isn’t always the easiest task.
It seems after the latest patches that Ranger’s pets and even Necro’s summons are attacking even when set to “Avoid Combat.” So being attacked by something or attacking something makes it completely ignore it’s settings. So when attacking something I have to keep pressing “return to me” to get them to stop. Has this been happening to anyone else?
