Guild Wars 2

New to the game and am currently a level 10 human warrior on TC server. Is it worth it to even attempt at weapon/armor smithing or should I just sell whatever gear/junk/gathering stuff I collect on my travels?

I’ve been selling it so far, and have amassed a little over 1 gold.

New to the game and have been diving head in the past few days. Mainly going through the story and doing side missions etc. However, it is pretty boring without friends/a crew, so I am trying to remedy that.

I’m from the East Coast, so any groups/guilds in my timezone around similar levels (pretty low right now as I just got the game a few days ago), and/or willing to help a new player, please contact me.

How do you go about rebinding the keys? I’m a little less new to PC gaming than your wife (am a vet of Runescape back during the good ol’ days haha), but a lot of the MMO key functions and lingo goes right over my head.

Just bought the game yesterday and am currently a level 5 human warrior. Obviously have not gotten too far into it, mainly just completing the heart objectives within the Queensdale region and getting experience that way.. Examined the spot where you fight the introductory sequence earth golem jawnt and got 2 skill points. Was my first time with such an event and want to know what people suggest I put these and forthcoming skill points toward to make an effective character..?

Since I am so new I am still learning the controls, but one other question I have is:
“Is there a way to make the turn speed faster?”
I get that you can adjust the camera turn speed with the mouse (which I did), but when I use the WASD keys to move etc, the turning left/right is pretty slow and I have trouble at times attacking enemies since I have to be facing them to deal out my damage.

I’m a new player to GW as a whole, and am currently downloading the client. I will be playing semi-casually as I’ll be working my internship this summer full-time starting Monday, but I wanted something to hold me over during my off-hours.

I live on the East Coast, so I am looking to find people who play in similar timezones etc. but I am currently unsure as to what server I should play on. When searching the web and doing some preliminary research, I got mixed results. For those wondering, I do not think I will be doing much of the WvW gameplay due to my work schedule and such – I will most likely do PvE and hope to find like-minded players.

Any server recommendations is highly appreciated.

As for my character, I read some posts that said the Warrior is a good way to learn the game and get a feel of good combat conduct etc. so I think that will be my first go of it tonight/this weekend.
