I’m all for these sorts of trial weekends – they may bring new players to the game – but only if they are run properly. In this particular case I think Anet has failed miserably. Putting a free trial weekend on at the same time as a ONE OFF world event is both stupid and irresponsible. What happens if I was to try and log in and was unable to because of the influx of trial accounts… I miss out on a one time event for someone who may never buy the game.

Anet have really put little thought into the timing of this trial weekend, and should expect a massive backlash if people who have already paid for the game cant access it.

It would be nice for an Anet rep to clarify what led them to putting these two events on at the same time.

Apart from the little rant I’m all for free trials… just not when one-off events are on.

The NPC has disappeared again for this skill point…. this is getting so annoying….

I know there are many threads appearing about bugged skill points, events not working etc, and it seems like Arena Net arent doing anything about it… hopefully posting more of these threads will eventually make them see that we want it fixed.

please reset the server or something, these bugs hinder map completion and are nothing but a nuisance for those who love to explore and complete maps like me. thank you.

GW2 seems to make use of all available resources… im on a stock ivy bridge i5 and it uses 70-95% cpu but only ever peaks at 35-50% GPu…. go figure…. maybe ArenaNet are AMD lovers??

this update is for multi and single gpu configurations… im running a single 7850 Oc edition and see an increase of about 5-10 fps with this CAP…. it might be worthy of a mention that decent antivirus programs suchs as Bitdefender or Norton are creating massive drops in FPS…. I use Bitdefender 2013 and see about 70-80 fps… if I uninstall it i see 102-115 fps….

i too have the same issues… but on a 7850….. seems GW2 is optimized for lower spec pcs… or just has not included any sort of optimization for newer pcs i.e.: ivy bridge and 7 series ati cards….

I would love to join. Im still progressing through the game, enjoying exploring every nook and cranny I can find. IGN = Animatoor
