I’m sure they can manage it, I mean they got a golem like race (asura) that look more like bunny rabbits wielding weapons twice the size of their body and big Cat like race swimming, I’m more than positive that they can work something out.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m craving for an expansion. But ArenaNet has made no mention of an expansion.

And I’m sure you can find many more sources where it is stated that Arenanet has currently no plans to create an expansion. Only that it is a possibility in the future.

Anet said that they wanted to get the core fundamentals down before they work on any expansions, they already have the funding for it, they just wanted to make sure that the core was running smoothly, as said in an interview earlier last year.

Also in this article, it talked about the expansions, but for now like I said they want the core game runing.

In the Elonian expansion (you know its happening) I would very much like to see Centaurs as a playable race. I Know this has be talked out of the ears on the forum, but I want to put in my thoughts on the matter.

Lore: With the return of Palawa Joko and the rise of the dragons, the peoples of Elona are subjugated by their tyrannical undead lord. This has caused once warring races to put aside their differences and work towards a common goal. Some Centaurs are now working for the Order of Whispers, with their unique skills and abilities, as well as Joko’s own conceptions of them allow them to do things that some of the human members can not.

As an existing race that we know about, have fought with, and have allied with, we know a bit about them.

The mechanics of the race would be simple. A larger equipment pack maybe shown on the sides like a satchel on horses and maybe an armor both on the human and horse parts (as shown below for armor style). They would fight with weapon and kick with hooves like real horses. Some skill examples:

Ventari’s Faith: (skill) Heal self for 15-30 health and remove 1 condition. 5e, 1/2s casting, 15s cooldown

Veldtruner Charge: (stance)player moves 15-25% faster for 10 seconds. 10e, instant, 20s cooldown.

Trample: (skill) target touched foe and adjacent foes are knocked down. 5e, 2s casting, 30s cooldown.

Nomad’s Stance: (stance) you have +5-20 armor against elemental damage for 10s. 10e, instant, 20s

Their armor would be fairly standard looking, while being a little tight on them. Possible increased cost for armor from size. ( Some armor ideas in the pictures below; all pictures were found off the web and belong to the original owner) Slightly arrogant towards other races, but loyal to the Order of Whispers and for those who don’t wanna play as a Centaur then you don’t have to, there are other races to choose from. Some people want to play as a Centaur. It something different that people want to try out, and no other game that i know of will let you be as a centaur, that I know of.
