Hey there,
I had the problem with the endless loading animation and solved it!
I tried several things, so I´m not 100% sure which made it happen, but I guess importing the certificates manually did it:
- log in as admin
- navigate to your gw2.exe
- rightclick – properties
- tab “digital signatures”
- select signature from the list – click on details
- view certicificate – install certificate
- repeat for “counter signature”
Hope that helps!
If not let me know and I´ll try to remember the other steps I did.
For those who are having the “blank sell tab” on the trading outpost, I found a Fix…
Simply delete the file Local.dat in your Guild Wars 2 folder located in :
“[drive]:\Users\[user_name]\Documents\Guild Wars 2”
Have fun.

Doesn´t work for the endless loading animation
For those who are not able to access the commerce panel at all – were you able to before?
No, it never worked. Just didn´t worry until now, where it´s suppossed to work.
Try disabling your 3rd party firewall software and launch the game again to see the if the contents of the Trade Post show up…
Tried that, problem remains…
The firewall would react to a connection from a different process like awesomium.
Pretty sure it´s something with those certs. Got cert errors in LoL all the time,
I can just pass them by there…
I can’t access the black lion trading page at all it keeps loading forever no matter what tab I choose. I’m running Windows XP Service Pack 3 and I did run it as administrator. I tested the game on my laptop with Windows 7 and it works fine there..
Same here, even with Win7!
Tried every suggestion i could find (admin rights, disabling addons, repair client…), nothing works. Seems like a problem with those ssl certs, sounds familiar to me…
Is there any way to import them manually, make a needed site trusted or something?
Is there any Windows service that needs to run? Which browser engine is used (someone mentioned it´s Firefox/Chrome – is that official?)
Please help/fix that, don´t wanna reinstall the whole OS and leave it unconfigured…
