I would recommend Mace/Shield + Hammer, PVT armor, and Trooper Runes if you wanted to be a tanky, sustainable warrior.
The mace and shield can allow for blocks and stuns, while the hammer can be used to dish out some good dps (not a whole lot but a fair amount). P(ower), V(itality), T(oughness) armor (aka: soldiers) to increase your ability to fight and stay alive. and the trooper runes (optional, but recommended in my opinion) to shout heal condi clear.
This would be a general idea on what to use, but its completely up to you what you want.
Juba is right in saying that using Sw/Wh + Hammer is better for zerging
With the Sw/Wh build, you have more speed, condi conversion, and damage converted into healing. I enjoy using this build in WvW while in a zerg.

So I’ve swapped from playing zerker warrior to condi warriors and I’ve really started taking a liking to playing condi. I recently got into an argument w/ some people about warriors who play condi in PvE and I had to ask.
Which do you prefer and why. (Heavy details and explanation would be very helpful.)
The reason I’m asking this is because I thought this game was more “play what you want” then “play whats the best”. I understand for situations for global bosses and such that condi isn’t really great, but what about playing in dungeons?
well TC is busy with getting bases and stuff, which is cool cause their focusing on winning, but it would be nice to have a squad-size group in the JQ and wreck CD’s butt and then “camp” them
the JQ should, imo, be a friendly territory, cause im getting really tired of CD enemies repeatedly killing me right as i get in. and the place is INFESTED with CD people, using traps and laughing away, like the happy campers they are. i dont have this problem with YB cause they just want to do the jump quest, get their reward, and get out, like me.
well im getting really sick of all the campers in the JQ, i cant make any progress without getting shot at by a 5v1 group…
i enjoy using banners alot, because im a lazy healer and like doing the work done for me.
i use this banner set for alot of the things i do, it is importiant to have the tactics banner because it gives your banner healing a little more of a push in healing.
i would recommend 1 of 2 sets. draconic (cleric’s), and rubicon of lyssa because of the heal bonuses along with its ability for you to still be able to do damage.

well i was aiming to be more of a “support healer” to help other players low on health survive, such as dungeons or jormag’s ice attack.
i was thinking of doing something like this (cleric armor) or switch the shouts to banners.
I do use the should build, but im wondering if i should change my armor set to healing power.
I am stuck between if i should go as Shout user or banner user.
also the armor set i should purchase to help with the healing, currently i have 4/6 koda armor that gives power/vitality/toughness. should i continue with that or switch to precision/vitality/healing power (which is what i feel i should).
