The only thing I can honestly think of that would make a thief good in wvw and pve is a CD healing/tank build. There are various youtube videos. Try a build similar to this. Link is in his description.

Thanks Doomdesire, I’m trying this out. I just found out that its my armor that’s the problem. My question now is where can i find armor that helps with Vitality, Power, Healing, Toughness, and Conditioning (still not sure what Conditioning dose. My guess is how long poison/bleed effect lasts)? Any dungeons I need to go too? what type of weapons I’m looking for?

Okay here’s the thing, I’m level 80 and I don’t know what armor/weapons I need or what stats I’m looking for. I want to be good in PvE, Dungeons, and WvW.

At this moment my traits are:
25 Deadly Arts (Skills: Sundering Strikes, Dagger Training)
30 Critical Strikes (Skills: Side Strike, Practiced Tolerance, Executioner)
15 Shadow Arts (Skills: Master of Deception).

The skills I’m using are:
Hide in Shadows
Blinding Powder
Signet of Shadows
Shadow Refuge
Dagger Storm

I’m using sword and pistol (switching to daggers asap) and a shortbow. Also is there a specific way to play as Thief? I know I cant charge in like a Guardian or I’ll get killed and I need to use the dodge a lot. Anything would help.
