There are lots of threads on mesmers and thieves. I personally find flaws in mesmers and thieves. Mesmers need help from other players and their own illusions. Thieves must rely on hit and run tactics and stealth. If they fail at these things, they are dead. Overpowered implies you don’t need tactics or others.
I know my Mesmer and my Thief are around level 60 and will need more then 20 levels and gear. Still, these classes are supposed to be overpowered, so why am I dying? A logical person might think that people have adapted to countering these classes especially on T1 like I play. I however have another theory.
Fresh Fruit! I have noticed almost all my enemies have this buff called “Nutrition”. This implies they use fruit. I however, don’t normally use fruit buffs. The player using fruit and other foods has a clear advantage over players who don’t. Why does no one rant on this? Oh sure this sounds like madness, but what if someone takes over a fully upgraded Stonemist with a buff from a banana?
This video will show you how to counter fresh fruit with pistols, AoE damage and pets.
Enjoy.
I came into this thread actually expecting this haha. What I did not expect on the other hand was….

Dragon’s Tooth now triggers its blast finisher at the target instead of the caster.
It still doesn’t actually hit anything though.
On behalf of Sorrow’s Furnace I’ll apologize ( I am in no position of authority and therefore do not actually speak for SF). I’m sorry we aren’t putting up more of a fight, but most of our server goes into shutdown during these special events. Now…. if we had WvW snowball fights we’d totally cream you all :p
Just don’t play elementalist, I don’t have enough experience to talk about any of the other classes, but I’m quite sure they cannot require more concentration for PvE then ele.
If a dev is reading this I would like to say, GJ bro I can tell it took you guys a long time to think of this solution. Thanks for leaving us with such a grandmaster trait, but here’s a suggestion for the next update, instead of having EA deal pity damage it should be a self-destruct instead. Think of it this way, how awesome would it be to dodge and then blow up into pieces, I can’t think of a better GM trait than that
I can think of one, it would involve us being stuck in Tornado for 3min, even spawning in Tornado, I think that might be a bit too OP though.
Entire event seems bugged on Sorrows Furnace. We got the initial event to kill a few mobs, but absolutely nothing else.
Noll fired off once on Maguuma however nobody has said they got credit for it. Hasn’t activated again.
Also happened on Sorrow’s Furnace
What I find most amusing is that the rangers bugged trap CD was fixed within hours of the patch being released, who wants to bet that it will be at least the next major patch before they fix this bug?
One review company posted a review of the fractals claiming that the dungeon resets every week. I think that should hopefully take care of it if it is true.
EDIT: found it

Only stat 1 is active, to get the others active you have to equip “Superior Rune of the Citadel” to your other pieces of armour. You get 1 tier for every rune of the same type you have equipped to your active armour.
You didn’t give us much to go on
That said however, do you have Griffinrook run? If so then I’m afraid I’m not sure which one in particular you are missing, here is a link, go to the areas and check their maps against yours and it will show which you are missing with a bit of searching.
