It’s interesting. Supposedly score doesn’t matter, but now Blackgate is horrible because they score more.

I’d say that any server that drops its participation while facing Blackgate, or tanks a match while in a tier below BG gets deleted. No warning. If you are throwing a match: boom. Done. Because match manipulation is against the TOS.

Manipulation does not apply to WvW. Reread the ToS.

Tournaments. Were. A. Disaster. How many times does this need to be said (by the devs, at that!) before people understand it?

Seconded. Tournaments are the self-destruct sequence for WvW.

The idea of the tournament is good just poorly implented.

1: Tournament is one week long.
2: No announcement of when tournament will start except one week prior.
3: All servers are locked (no transfer) upon announcement of tournament.
4: If you transfer one week prior to the announcement of the tournament, you gain NO benefits.

Retaliation isn’t a skill, it’s a boon. Not sure if that applies.

Poison, burning, bleed, and chill aren’t skills. They’re conditions.

And trust me, if my necro’s inventory problems are a marker for anything, we certainly get loot credit.

But those are applied using a skill or a trait.

I have been in situations where we stacked in a corner in SMC and we buffed with retaliation and just stood there and watched players die.

They did 3 attempts before realizing that, lol and I did get loot bags without using any skills other than possibly some of them entering our light fields.

I think most of what you’re looking for falls under Gaile’s department. From the past I can tell you this:

When poor Princess, Mawdrey II, the Sentients, etc can’t eat enough, how about a vendor where we can trade in ascended materials like dragonite dust, bloodstone dust, and empyreal fragments for karma.

Also, there is airship oil, Auric dust, etc from HOT maps.

In a way, there items are related to karma as we get them from all our good deeds.

I have 18 mill+ Karma. I’ll trade you, lol

Your server relevance is only for WvW which I don’t see mentioned in your post unless you associate that to PvP. But keep that in mind when choosing a guild.

It has been like that since Revenant day one. I’ve even told Roy in the bug thread, but he was unable to replicate it apparently.

Yeah it’s hard to tie it to any specific task or whatever. I just noticed it start happening to me within the last week.

Already have, just posted this due to it happened right after the last patch. Last time it did this to me was right around game launch.

Two characters that are now locked out of a zone. I can log into others with no problems and go to WvW.

If I try to change maps, I can’t zone in and stays that way.

Also get random disconnects while logging in.

Why has no one listed the crafting components and how to make them yet?

I have a character there I was able to log onto just after patching. Within 5 minutes I dc’ed and can no longer zone in on that character. All others in different zones are normal.

I had also updated my graphics driver earlier. Started having lag issues soon after. I rolled it back to see if this was the cause but can’t get to my character.

The original question got cut out through replies. What I was wondering was whether or not Anet would make the ascended Mistforged weapons upgradable to Legendary in the same way they’re making the ascended Mistforged and Hero armours upgradable.

Daisy’s question, as I understood it (but could be wrong), is whether or not changing the stats on Mistforged weapons in the Mystic Forge would make them unupgradable, and whether people should hold off on doing that until there’s more certainty about it.

I still stand by my statement. The original ones that came out we’re basically skins to spend your tournament tickets on. The exotic version having a slight animation difference.

I have not compared the exotic to Ascended yet to see if it offers anything more making it worthwhile to purchase or it’s just another way to get a weapon instead of hoping for a chest drop that has stats you don’t want.

Does forge changing them remove the ability to upgrade weapons? I’d not heard that that was the case, and I don’t actually see a case for it either. That said, I can’t imagine I’d be worried about it either way.

I agree somewhat, every tier is now valuable so there is no reason to not have generic “herb nodes” that give every possible herb or ore/wood nodes that give every possible tier of ore/wood. It would certainly balance out the supply/demand.

One possible answer is to use the same “Synthisizers” like in the GH and WvW.

I completed the map except for the Heart of Thorns and news regions that I can’t seem to get into. I’ve always been salvaging and selling all the mats on the fly except for the really precious ones.

I know this probably sounds boring but make a new one. Spare Gifts of Exploration always comes in handy.

Another source is map completion. I hit every gathering node I find and sell the mats. Most are very much in need on the TP.

You dont get any crafting or gathering, whatever that means.
It just makes your character lvl 80 and gives you some goodies to get you started that’s about it.

You get a chest of exotic gear and weapons which you can select stats on.

I think you get a level 80 boost but HoT is not included nor required to access PoF.

You get AC tears from the reward track. You can purchase the gift from the vendor in LA.
